We have a peregrine falcon hanging around the neighborhood! Actually, its a pair, and very impressive.
Distressing to one of my neighbors, however, is the fact that they eat smaller birds, such as the mockingbirds she enjoys.
Sadly, all I have is a cameraphone, and a sad one at that. Mix that with the fact that when one was on the lightpole outside and I went outside to take its photo with said phone, it rather decided not to sit for portraits.
