I'm almost finished setting up my new apartment in La Mesa. It's nice to live alone, but it's difficult to be productive in my own place without anyone asking me to do anything. I guess I work hard enough teaching 45 hours a week, but there are so many other things I want to do. It's national novel writing month and I have yet to work on my last novel or start a new one. I was hoping to get at least another 50,000 words out this month, and I've been thinking of what to write, but this is as close to writing something substantial outside of twitter that I've been able to come up with all month. (@dystopiancircus if you're interested.) I started working out regularly again and I spent about five hours doing yard work for my mom yesterday so I'm pretty exhausted. It was pretty fun using the chainsaw though, and since it was so small I was able to wield it in one hand on occasion, made me feel like badAsh... On a day like today I really want to just find some headband, watch some movies and let the day disappear, but I haven't smoked in weeks and let my script expire because of the Neo-Facism. I'm not really in the mood to drink, but my new drink, that I invented as far as I know, the Honey JD mixed with vanilla coconut water would he a nice afternoon drink in a few hours. I'm dreading the two hours of ironing I have to do before work tomorrow, but it makes my mornings a lot easier to handle. I got a new haircut yesterday so I must be feeling pretty professional after they decided to keep me on indefinitely and gave me a raise. Not really excited to teach the third week of Microsoft Access and Quickbooks. I'd rather get kicked in the nuts every morning at 5AM when I wake up. I think I'll focus on putting all of my clothes away for the rest of the morning and find some Rollins to listen to.
