so, I lost my job yesterday. that was a blow. I've been wanting to work there for some time, and then when I started it really wasn't the way I thought it would be. I was so excited to work at a brewpub and learn everything I could about brewing beer, and being part of a knowledgeable staff... and then I found out I was pretty much the only beer nerd that worked there. including the owners.
it was a blow. definitely a blow. one coworker was a beer nerd, but it seemed like it was something that came from working at a brew pub, not a passion.
I want so bad to own my own brewpub. I have such brilliant plans for it, and such brilliant plans for beers to make... I'm really excited about the smoky chili stout that I dream of.
...I don't know what to do with myself. ...maybe I should go to school. or start knitting more. or learn how to do bento boxes. ...or play an ass ton of video games.
I haven't been unemployed for a long time, and it's a really strange feeling.
I have an offer to do some pinup work though, so maybe I'll go for that, see how it works. maybe I'll post them up here. ...I feel weird lying in bed at 1:30. maybe I'll go hit up the thrift store.
