Today has been the first time in a heck of a long time that I've picked my graphics tablet up.
Feels really weird!
Bit more practice and I'll be up to standard again though =)

In normal people terms the week is almost over.
For me it's not even half way through.
Week's almost gone and I've not even managed to battle through half of my work I said to myself I was going to do this week.
I have a huge pile of photoshop projects.
I have a huge pile of photos I shot at a festival to sort through (I shot the buggers at least 2 months ago!!!)
I have my portfolio to sort through and change round.
I have my music to update for DJing this weekend.
I have people to ring about things.
I have a quiz to write.
Shit
That's more than I realised actually!

Best get cracking and pull my finger out!
Think I'll go for a smoke first though!

The missus went off it with me the other day.
In the car back from a DJ set (and I was more than a tad drunk) I turned round to her (She was driving, don't worry lol) and said that I need to get a photo with all 3 of my laptops in it. I have a photo of my VAIO and my Netbook, but want one of my VAIO netbook and Macbook Pro.
She hit the roof.
We've been together 4 years and only have a handful of photos of us together lol.
Is that wrong?

Out photographing a band on Thursday night, DJing Friday night, street party Saturday night, DJing at day 2 of the street party all Sunday afternoon then off to DJ in a club Sunday night.
I was literally dead on my feet by the time I finished work at 1 am this morning. Obviously I was really tired, but by the time I got home and crawled into bed I found I couldn't sleep. Sat watching a documentary on TV about Johnny Cash's live album at Folsom Prison and had to take bloody sleeping tablets to get to sleep. Despite the fact I was really tired.
I'm out tonight to see Spamalot. Out tomorrow with my band. Wednesday is RPG night round at my mates. Thursday is band photography night. Friday is DJing. Saturday I'm DJing. Sunday I'm DJing. I might get an early night next Monday.
ARGH!

Still working for myself doing art and DJing.
I'm now about to become a full time student as well!
That's just the cool stuff.
I won't even start going into all the shit that's been going on the past few months. Let's just say I've been a rather foolish boy and done some rather foolish things! I won't go into these at the minute though!
Also on the plus side lol...
My family has grown...
Not only do I have my Sony Vaio (VGN-AR61M)
I now also have a Samsung NC10 netbook for on the road
and a 13" Macbook Pro for design work
I must take a photo of them all together just for the randomness of it.

I've never been a morning person but I seem to be getting worse!
I DJ all weekend and that just totally throws me out for the rest of the week and I don't start coming round until Friday, by which point it's time to start all over again.
I don't know if it's a North East England thing or if you find this elsewhere but next Friday is known as "Black Eye Friday". Basically, with it being the last Friday before christmas, all the electricians, plumbers, roofers, joiners - any job like that - clock off at lunchtime and go to the pubs. They're there until closing and then will often go to a club when the pubs have closed! I'm sure you can imagine why it's called "Black Eye Friday"!
The reason I'm mentioning this is because I just realised last night that it is next week (18th). I wouldn't mind as much if I was just doing my usual DJ gig, but I'm out gigging with my band first, in possibly one of the roughest pubs in the area!!!! Let's hope they like us! lol

Wednesday already... This week seems to be flying by!
Rehearsal with my band again tonight. Just been out to a PA shop with the keyboard player and bought a rack box. It was on sale for £110 but me and Barry managed to persuade the shop assistant to give us a discount so we got it for £80. Shy kids get nothing!
I also bought some leads for all my new DJ gear and a new bag to put my DJ mixer in.
Pretty uneventful day really.
Nothing much exciting.
I'm working on a few bits of fan art for some girls, which I'll hopefully get finished before I go out, but got less than 2 hours and I need to get some stuff sorted out so I doubt it!
I got £500 paid into my bank account yesterday, which was good. The company have owed me it since April and I've literally had to fight to get it! There's another £500 coming from them soon (hopefully)
