I ran somewhere between 6-8 miles today (in my ranger panties). hah, it felt pretty good to have bored housewives and co-eds honk at me while I was killing myself on the hills.

Just got back to California; Holy shit it's good to see Del Taco and In n Out again. The road gore/drive damage to the dahlia is pretty harsh, i've been needing to wash/detail her anyway. Driving back I ran into some dude in Riverside that had the same model car i did, but silver (the silver dahlia? doesn't work). haha, we had a lot of fun causing some hell on the 60 and 91.

Apparently they're going to make a live action version of AKIRA, part of which is going to be released when I'm overseas. good god.

One week left, then a REAL shitty drive back home. Haha, I just found out my last friend that I kept in regular contact with just moved to New Mexico. I've never been the type to have tons and tons of friends; just a few that are really close..it's pretty depressing how many people you just lose track of once you enlist.
Nothing too new, Audi's pissing me off about not tracking any of the online payments I make..fucking assholes. Considering how expensive their cars are, they'd have any sort of finance b/s totally locked in; guess not.

I havn't seen the TDK yet, I'm pretty pumped about it, but gotta save money for my drive home. suck.

California in a couple of weeks! I'm pretty pumped to get back home and see my family...but then it's kind of like "Fuck man, what am I gonna do for two weeks?" I've only got a couple of friends at home anymore.. I'll figure something out. It's always pretty bittersweet going home too, the like two times a year I do make it back to OC it's before I get shipped out somewhere or it's right after and my family's freaked out because of how much I've changed. Whatever, it's the last time overseas before I get out, they can all deal with it

ha, things have been going pretty awesome lately..sushi for lunch with a couple of dudes in my team, which is always entertaining...you'd think considering our job and what it is that we all collectively do for a living we'd be semi-serious people. of course not. Apparently, the more life threatening your job is, the more you revert towards being complete idiots; Which is fine in my book, you gotta get your laughs when you can, I can only imagine having to deal with us.

This weekend was kind of disappointing, the dude i was pirating my internet off of found out or moved, so I'm now cut off from the outside world..bummer. There really isn't any point in getting my own, hell, we leave in August for a year. And a couple of our dudes got in a fight with a couple of the softskill losers that live in our compound, not that I'm upset about that, these fuckers had it coming for a while (it's hard to explain, I'll probably get into it later), just kind of down that I missed it.

in other news my hair is ridiculous long (stick with me here I'm in the military after all), like the longest it's been since I enlisted. It's strange, that I'm further from civilian life than I ever have been before (compared to my last unit) but it's the closest I've been in terms of appearance. Maybe I'm just talking out my ass..
