I finally made it

we adopted an 8 month old Pit
and his name is Marquez (yes after Gabriel Garcia)

And life could NOT be more glorious

Why must some of us mutilate ourselves in order to feel greater in this world?

I find the swelling of a breast that does not sink or lower when supine: tragic, inflexible, and bizarre. I wish I did not live in a world where going under the knife was a possibility for furtherment of confidence or appearance of one's beauty.

We should believe in ourselves for the bodies that we are.

There is a sensitivity to light, sometimes, for some, when the things just aren't working out.

I like to do my laundry, absent-mindedly because it gives me time to think.

There are glorious things ahead: stripes and waves and patterns unfolding.

I am eager for the changes, but attempting to enjoy the meagerness of what I'm waiting to leave behind.

At least there is love, and this love keeps me in full blossom.



I want to go to a heavy-metal concert where the people are thinkers too, not just rockers and white trash...

I am unbelievably excited for Halloween!!! I love this holiday with a fever!!!

I contemplate the glorious-ness of costumes.... and I am considering a glamour zombie as my role for the night!

I must say I cannot always rationalize my instincts
or my motivation

But I can admit to myself when I am lost because of my own thoughts
--especially because of my own thoughts.

I want to paint glass, run with my dog and be at the sea
though sadly, I am so far
from this.

I will find strength in understanding being lost, even if I can't find my way
yet.

Okay, so I may be criticized and called a noob, but I have only been climbing for 5 months, and yesterday was the first time I ever got to top-rope and Holy Shit it was fuckin' amazing!!!

Up until this point I have been seriously committed to bouldering, which is getting me strong as shit, and challenging me everyday.... but climbing is climbing and so I don't care if I'm a noob. I work my ass-off and train hard and I fucking love to climb!! Top-roping is a whole different side of the sport and I had a ball.

Ah, this day, the second of July.... man it rings in like a clear and airy day out on the sea.

I have opened a new chapter with honesty, and the clarity in which this can bring. Which is glorious....
Last night we had a most stellar rainstorm-- the lightning seemed to just reach out from the sky!!

I look forward to climbing today... it's gorgeous out!
