Life:
Well not much going on with me. Trying to keep my head above water with all my damn credit card bills. Been spending most of my time these last couple days drinking away at the neighboorhood bar. Same boring mindless crap, Sorry guys nothing to fun about me lol. Although I am getting pretty excited about seeing Depeche Mode on Saturday night. I just wish the group of friends I'm going with wouldn't make a big deal about it! I mean its just a concert people. There is no need to do Mescaline and Rent a hotel room for the weekend. I just think its getting a bit out of hand. Call me old fashioned, I remember when I used to watch a show, Go home and Sleep. Not making a whole weekend out of it. I never took "The Goons" (The Guy Friends) to Ozzfest and make a damn weekend out of it! Only Women, Will make a damn weekend out of a concert... Unbelievable! Sorry about that I get a little mad sometimes! lol I just started watching the new season of "Top Chef" and its looking awesome already! ..uuumm oh yeah just ot into this new band "Since October" they sound pretty good ... The funny thing is the Drummer looks just like me!! I shit you not! .... LMAO!!

Weekend Movie Reviews:

Inglourious Bastards........
Where do I start. This movie has everything in it. It was wity, serious, and hilarious at the same time. I was on the edge of my seat for the serious parts and then rolling on the floor laughing for the funny ones. Quentin is a great movie maker. A little on the edge, but I think that is what makes his movies so good. Brad Pitt is well known for his horrible take on accents, well for Inglorious Basterds his atrocious accents come in handy since he plays a country hick who loves to kill Nazis. The other actor that stands out to me, even though he's not in the movie to long, is Eli Roth as Donny "The Bear Jew" Donawitz. He's basically one of the most bad ass characters I have ever seen. Even though he only has two extremely good scenes, they're so powerful that they sky rocket "The Bear Jew" into the likes of John Rambo and Jason Bourne. Some might think differently than I, but I couldn't care less. The story may not have been factual, but the humor and the violent moments keep you wanting more. Trantino is one of a kind, continues to produce incredible movies and always unpredictable and never disappointing. If you like tarantino you'll really like the movie...... A+

Halloween II ...............
I thought this movie was amazing! It picked up where the other one left off. The acting and writing was incredible. Scout Taylor Compton plays the damsel so well. Rob Zombie, what can I say? The development of the characters was spot on. His vision was perfection! I think if you liked the first one, you're going to love this one even more! It was just a perfect sequel! This Halloween is different from the old John Carpenter creations, so dont expect to see every detail from the original films. Rob zombie interpreted the story of michael in his own way. If you like Rob Zombie you'll love this movie. Brutal murders, boobs, old classic rock in the backgrounds, the f bomb a thousand times. You can see Rob's style in the movie. Rob's visions and views of the story of Michael Myers was creative and twisted. It is a must see for any Horror fan..... A+

Weekend Movie Review:

District 9
(After years of having an alien population reside on Earth without understanding their motives for coming, the government decides to relocate them to a more secluded area. The leader of the relocation operation is accidentally contaminated by an alien chemical and begins to take on some alien attributes, and the government wants to dissect him while the aliens want him to help them leave the planet. ) - The Plot

I was never excited about seeing this movie. Boy, was I Right. I just wanted to get up after the first 45 minutes and leave. I do not know if the writers were trying to relate the way the aliens were treated to the blacks in South Africa, but come on. If you like movies that are filmed by a hand held camera, you might enjoy some of this. I think District 9 was quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen next to The Happening. Forget categorizing it as a "science fiction movie", it's more like a shallow thriller/horror with some unrealistic drama thrown in there. Terrible acting, the main character is extremely unlikeable and his use of the F-word shows just how poor scripted this movie is. EXTREMELY shallow and PREDICTABLE plot. Instead of caring about any depth in story, just shoot 'em up at the end. Stupid and horribly scripted. Around 10 people left within 40 minutes of the movie. There is so much BRUTALLY wrong with calling this movie smart or insightful. It is a horrific mess with cardboard villains straight out of the cliche book!! Nothing makes ANY sense, for instance why don't we know anything about the aliens except that they like cat food and trash but yet we can understand their language?? A guy gets a mutagenic virus that changes him to an alien and it's viewed and an economic opportunity?? The aliens deal in weapons with african gangs and the government is fine with it?? All the aliens act like a cross between monkeys and roaches except for 2 of them (one of which somehow acquires the name Christopher??!) whom have a complete human father son relationship?? How the hell could THAT happen?? The list of impossibly badly written cliches and situations goes on and on for 2 hours just awful! unless you are a 14 year-old with a lobotomy that likes when things go BOOM, RUN FAR FAR AWAY!!!! The only thing that this shit fest has going for itself was the blood and gore, other then that it was total crap! I can't believe people think District 9 is one of the best science fiction movies of the decade, makes me lose faith in Hollywood. ... I give it a ..... D- mad

This is very embarrassing but any advice would be greatly appreciated. My girlfriend and I are in our late 20s and have been going out for over 4 years. We Have been living together with my parents for over 2 years now for due to our fucked up finacial problems. To set the story up to where we are now is this "Her mom has been in jail for the last 2 years. Since shes been in jail all of my GF's mom problems were dumped on my GF. As in, Paying for her Mom's car, Her Mom's Bills, Her Mom's house etc. Hence why we moved in to my parents house to help us out with the some of the bills. My parents understand her situation and has helped us out by letting us stay there rent free, so we can catch up on our bills and get everything back in order by the time her mom gets out of jail. Between My GF and her sister they agreed to split the bills between the two of them but her Sister is selfsh and has left my GF and me to deal with all of her mom's bills and our own on top of it by ourselves" (Thats was just a short background story to understand my GF's state of mind right now) When we first started dating she told me she was a Virgin, Now most guys would run for the hills but I was curious, We hit it off right away. As in any relationship I let her know was ready to take things to the next level, but you don’t want her thinking that’s all you’re after. After all was still a virgin in her early 20's so shes very unlikely to cave to the pressure, Plus she's obviously pretty skilled at saying no! I thought that was an indication she was waiting for someone special, Her Prince Charming! Slowly but surely we had sex, and it was intense for the first 2 years and since then it's been dropping gradually. I can also point out that I am the one that have been doing all the initiation and that itself lowers my self esteem. After we moved in together after her "Mom's Crap" it's almost like she fulfilled her goal and now doesn't want to have sex anymore. We've had sex three times in the last 4-5 months, and thats maybe pushing it. Usually she just ignores my efforts or Pushes me away, It's too late, She's tired, or "Don't molest me", "You can survive without sex, I can", or my favorite all time shoot down is "Get over it". On two occations I have brought this up for serious discussion, first time was last spring when I said that I wanted to know what's causing it or what I was doing wrong, it only made her irritated. The other time, after daily attempts for over a month I one night simply got so sad and disappointed that I wen't to sleep crying!!! The next morning she came in all angry and wondered what was wrong with me, I told her that her behaviour is completely fucked up thats there 2 of us in this relationship not just her and that I cannot understand why she simply doesn't want to have sex. Again she was only irritated and angry that I brought this up... All her friends say "I feel sorry for you dude I don't know what to say" ... "Danny just rape her" ... in a funny way but its just not funny anymore its pretty fucking depressing at this point!

I am seriously on the verge of loosing it, to bring an idea of how this is making me feel and how desperate I have become I should mention that I have been cheated on once in a prior relationship and that completely destroyed me that time. Recently I very nearly ended up doing the same thing myself even though I am probably one of the worlds biggest nice guy there are. But, everyone keeps telling me "if your not getting it at home, A guys is a guy and is going to get his needs else where" ... In a way i see this being true but I'm just not a cheating type of guys ... I've been tempted to cheat but I just can't se myself doing it. This relationship is in all other aspects completely wonderful, and that's what's keeping me from breaking it off. In these past 2 weeks I have realized I have a self esteem issue, and that really doesn't help when you're the one that has do initiate, or try to initiate, every single time. Please help me by giving me some sort of advice on what I should do! frown frown frown

Weekend Movie Reviews:

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Alright, I know some of you are questioning, "why oh why did this summer blockbuster keep getting so many bad reviews", allow me to answer that! There was no valid plot line throughout the entire movie!!! There were soooo many ridiculous things in this movie you won't believe. Lets go down the list shall we, A girl who turns into a freaking transformer, that makes no sense, this isn't terminator my friends... What the hell is up with Michael Bay trying to stick his camera up megan fox's cooch? Michael ... a robot that humps her leg? Acutally showing "Robot Balls/Testicles" ....Really?? Not to mention two robots that reminded me of the way african americans were portrayed in the 1930's, with obvious sounding black street slang, and one of them ACTUALLY had a gold tooth. I mean really! Why not give them fried chicken and red kool-aid while your at it? I mean one of them confessed that neither of them were any good at reading. Are you kidding me? Michael Bay didn't see a problem with this? Steven Spielberg thought this was okay? WTF!! The whole movie is based on only and only trying to revive Optimus Prime - THAT IS IT ! They came up with ridiculous ideas in this movie, too much Walt Disney in embedded in this movie by attempting to characterize the robots as being humans. The Decepticons attempting to grow robots?!! WTF is that about robots that bleed when they are punched and feel pain? Come on man, This is Transformers not the animated movie "Robots", "Cars", or "Wall-E", with all these human similarities. I hope that the Transformers series gets a serious overhaul as it did the last Batman that blew away the screens ... with factual and more realistic everything and original Transformers. Who was it that directed this piece of crap? Oh wait silly me I should have known ... Absurd dialog, Pedestrian acting and... I've wasted too much time on this review already! ... I give it an ........... F- mad

Public Enemies
First off I'm hear to say I'm a huge Johnny Depp. I hate all those people who came on the Depp bandwagon after he did "Pirates of the Caribbean". The man is a great actor, Watch "What's Eating Gilbert Grape", "Benny & Joon", "Edward Scissorhands", & "Cry-Baby" to see this man at his best. Public Enemies showed yet again the versatility of Depp. A brilliant storyline showcasing classic characters in ways we've never seen. Do not bring the kids, Take them to see Transformers. The action in this movie is reminiscent of Saving Private Ryan and Band of Brothers, with extremely realistic portrayals of gun battles. I can't remember the last time I felt so tense during a firefight. The cinematography was superb, but the sound editing really stood out to me. You feel yourself there with the gang through the whole movie. The movie stayed true to what really happened (The Facts) and made everything pretty realistic and believable. Michael Mann is one of the best directors of our time. If Heat, Collateral, Last of the Mohicans, Miami Vice, Ali, and The Insider didn't already prove that to you time and time again, then go watch robot testicles swing instead. Mann doesn't need car chases (although he's got them, and they're GOOD) or robots to keep you on the edge of your seat. He just lets Depp carry the film with the same swagger that made Dillinger a celebrity in his time. After letdowns like Wolverine, The Proposal, and Transformers 2. You owe it to yourself to see this film. The Academy has decided to have 10 Best Picture nominees from now on, and I have a good feeling this will find itself a slot on the ballot. And maybe Depp will finally win that Oscar he's been nominated for so many times ...... Possibly one of the the top ten best gangster movie of all times ... I give it an .... A+ ... love

I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to talk to people, much less women. I don't say or do the right things in social situations. I'm an awkward, under-appreciated, under-sexed shrill. And after meeting countless people, I'm convinced that I'm the only one on the planet who acts like this. I mean, all my girlfriends were accidents, including my current. My current girlfriend is with me because I'm a "nice guy who loves her". Actually, I'm not even the nice guy who finishes last, because apparently I am an asshole most of the time and don't even realize it. It's the times too that I am trying to stand up for myself, like what I would think alpha males would do, that people stop talking to me and say I'm an asshole.

So here's my question then:
Is it normal for me to want to be like my friend's ex-boyfriend? He gets what he wants, when he wants it. Even if his intentions are evil, it must be exciting to know that you are in that level of control. To think that if you wanted, you could find that woman you always dreamed of and actually stay with her, while people like me fall to the wayside. I mean, the level of oppression that I have felt being on the bottom of the totem pole actually made me want to cheat on my girlfriend, just to feel a little bit of the power that others have now. A inferiority complex, you know? I know that being like him would make me just as horrible a person. But at the same time, I'm apparently already a horrible person, just one who gets shit on 24/7. I would like to ask all of you alpha men, bad girls, and goody two-shoes out there if what I want is normal?

Weekend Movie Review:

The Hangover:
I walked into this movie a little hesitant, and man did I felt like a complete tool for doubting Todd Phillips once again. I was skeptical about it at first, thinking that the previews would have only the funny parts, but they are just the tip of the iceberg... Everyone hit a home run in this movie. I was a little unimpressed with the trailer, but trust me, after you see this movie you will realize that most of the movie couldn't have possibly made it into the trailer. Another reason was the writers.... their previous works being The Ghosts of Girlfriend's Pasts and Four Christmases and Rebound. I don't know what they did between those and this but damn did they step their game up. Now, the movie is hilarious. I have become so used to the thought of the Judd Apatow gang being the only ones to make truly funny films, but I realized very quickly into this movie that I was dead wrong. I think this movie was by far ten times funnier than Pineapple Express, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Step Brothers, etc. And I find each of those flicks truly, hilariously, funny. I remember watching Superbad the first time and thinking that that was the funniest movie ever made, when it comes to films with legitimate plots and characters, etc. And maybe Superbad and The Hangover are pretty close, but who knows.... So PLEASE see this film. The audience I saw it with was laughing hysterically every five minutes at least. There is enough one-liners to quote all summer, and enough subtle jokes to laugh about later on that you didn't catch the first time. If you love Old School & Road trip, you will love this movie ... Hands down the funniest movie of the summer..... A+ love love love

Movie Weekend Reviews....

Terminator: Salvation
Many people have plastered this movie, but as a long-time Terminator fan, I was pleased with the result. Plenty of action, and some cool new killer machines. But most important, they tie effectively into the overall storyline created by the previous three films (particularly T-1). All the key actors were credible in their roles. Christian Bale was excellent as John Conner, my only downside was the "Batmanesque" voice he used throughout the movie. Kyle Reese was portrayed perfectly because during this film he does not go back in time to save sarah conner for another 10 years. He was learning plenty of things which represent his character in the 1984 film. Also I loved the cameo of Governor Schwarzenegger. Schwarzenegger's "cameo" was brief, Blink twice and you'll miss it...but tied into the plot. The only option I can see is creating another movie all about Kyle Reese since John Connor is murdered by the T800 using childhood memories. This is stated in the film T3:ROTM by the T-800. All in all a wonderful movie and if you like sci-fi then go and watch this film. You will be entertained and if youre a fan of the series you will love all the familiar puns and memories associated with the older films.. I give it an ...... A-

Angels & Demons
This movie's plot was excellent, suspense was on the edge throught the whole movie. The ending was not what you thought it would be. Visual effects, especially when anti-matter explosion occurred were phenomenal! It was action-packed with the beauty of Italy intertwined. And the selection of actors for each character was spot on. You just can't go wrong with Ron Howard & Tom Hanks!! The history and mystery is more than enough to make you go see this movie. I Would recommend anyone to see this movie... I give it an ...... A-

...Not a bad movie week for me .. lol wink

Movie weekend reviews:

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
I really wanted to love this movie, but I can’t keep lying to myself. It sucked major balls. This looks like the director just sat down, read one Wikipedia page about X-men comics and then made a movie with photoshop and MS Paint. I like how everything they showed in the trailer was pretty much the extent of each character’s involvement in the film. Another thing, Not only did Gambit’s accent suck from the moment the guy opened his mouth, it randomly disappeared never to be heard from again. come on, he’s Cajun!!! The one bright spot without question was casting Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool. Deadpool is one of my favorite comic book characters so I hope they involve him in any future X-Men movies! Plus ..... Wolverine and Sabertooth are NOT BROTHERS damn it read your comics read your history!!!...another shitty try from hollywood to try to please everyone and guess what they failed!! All in all I give it a ..... D+

Star Trek
It was okay ... I'm not a hard core trekkie fan by any means. The actors were good, What didn't work on a different level was the slight comedic moments thrown into a plot which involves mass genocide, and personally I think that tyring to introduce all the original crew was a step too far. It would have made more sense to have just Spock and Kirk rather than try to give a back-story to everyone which led to too many characters fighting for airtime and took our attention away from the plot, and prevented any emotional connection to the characters. I left feeling bored in a movie that I felt could have been so much better if the Villian had more of a little something ... I dunno .. he was so bland and boring I feel, another thing ....why do we need to see young Kirk and the grand canyon business - that had no bearing at all on any of the film and was 2 minutes totally wasted - same as the creatures on the Ice planet! The actors nailed it, they just need a better story than this to pull off the great movie that I am sure they are capable of if they have a better storyline. All in all I give it a C+
