So I was laid up for a while, I wasn't hung over, but I had alot of sleep to catch up on. I went and got lunch, blogged of course, then hung around the hotel and watched part of Sherlock Holmes on my lappy.. shit I wish my hotel had wifi. Anyhow, got to Agra by 6, and got in to see Zeromancer.
They were really good, and I realized why they arent popular over here... guitars., but I still really enjoyed it, they are Industrial Rock; its funny, like in the first 3 songs I heard the 2 songs I knew the best for them
oppelganger I love you, and Clone your lover. Because I was checking out some of their stuff, I recognized Doctor Online, Death of Romance and Sinners International. Pretty good stuff. I had a couple cute guys by me... I think one was trying to get my attention, she came over from somewhere else cuz two of the girls by me seemed to be friends of hers.. then she had moved her foot where it was like against mine for a few minutes, which if the place was more packed, I would have just thought it was accidental.. but it wasn't that packed... course I suck, and too shy, and I didn't know what to do. I mean I was gonna say Great show... I realized I don't know how to say Show in German.. I am frustrated.. its hard to learn a language unless you just get immersed... and doesn't help when you are shy and don't get enough chances to use it. So like I was saying, since I suck, I didn't talk to her or the other girl on the other side. I was smitten with this redhead I saw in there... but I suck, as I said.
I went next door where they are selling all the merch, and got Aderlass vol 7, I have been waiting for this comp to come out for a while. I loved 6, and 7 is cool. I also got a Suicide Commando shirt, cuz is has DIE MOTHERFUCKER DIE on it! it rocks. I wondered the place, took a few pics.. Then I was thinking of going to Genatorters, but By the time I got back to Hauphtbahnhof, it was like 8:30. It like 30 minutes tram right down to Agra.. fuck me..so... I decided to rest a little and get my stuff ready for the evening. I got over to Mortbastei at 9:30. Thats a pretty cool club, it has a very underground feeling.... I think most times its more for more Norm music, but looks like it had a "goth" night one night a week.
I couldn't go into the venue where the band was playing, cuz it was packed, I had never even heard of Noyce TM. yeah, that's their name... :S So when it was over, people filed out. Slave Republic didn't quite get the crowd that Noyce did... but they were pretty good live, they arent a "studio band" like Faith Assembly is (I give that example because its the same style of music:Synth) I saw a pretty girl in there with a Mesh shirt on, and I love Mesh, but she definitely didn't look happy, maybe something happened to her but she sure had this pissy look on her face... I'm not good approaching as it is...
in the middle of the concert these two skanky chicks came out and were dancing up front, one of them tried dancing with me.. she said something to me in German, and I again could make it out. I said My German isn't very good. If I had any interest in her I would have attempted some German.. but I had None... and thankfully after that he left me alone... it was funny, cuz this other girl near me gave me this apologetic look (ugh the German keyboard has the y and z mixed up)
After that I got a Bratwurst and ate it, then went to Dark Flower, it was pretty packed, alot more dense than last time. The music was good and there was some pretty girls in there.. but it was hard to dance, I like a little room to dance.. because I dance, not move back and forth.
So my legs were aching from the standing so long, so I sat and was writing in my journal and this girl thought I was writing about her, because I happened to be pointing her way, when all I was trying to do was stretch my legs and get the pain to go away. As it turns out, she and her husband is from Tampa, and hes a DJ at Castle, he and I had alot in common, and we chatted for a while. Then he had to get drinks, and my legs were feeling better... so I got up and went to dance again. The music was pretty good, but Dark Flower really isn't that big of a club, its not like Das Bunker.. its bigger than the Noc, but not by much... and after a while, I realized I wouldn't dance, or talk to any hot girls, because there didn't seem to be too many in there.
So I got back to my hotel and watched the rest of Sherlock Holmes. Good movie. I got in like 2, and was up around today at 11. Its 1230 now, and my time on this machine is almost up.
