-Title "I was a tool for a girl from Berlin-
Well the first concert I was going to see was Rabia Sorda at Agra at 6;50, so I actually had alot of time to go around Leipzig and kill time. It was sunny, and though I was feeling a little depressed, I went down to Südplatz and walked down the way. I wanted to hit a grocery store, because I remembered from last year that not only are grocery stores closed on Sunday, they are closed on hoilday Mondays. That is a bit odd that they do that, course we did that in the US years and years ago. I sat for a while, at the corner of the intersection and wrote in my journal about last night and wrote. I imagine I looked strange, cross legged writing. Oh well, I didn't care, I wrote for a while, got back up and a few blocks away was the grocery store.. its called KEWE I think, something like that, four letters. So I grabbed some gum, some snacks, and woohoo! Rockstar Cola, love that stuff.. and a big bottle of coke. The other night I found out I had a mini bar in my room, so I figured I could put some of my drinks in there. Heres another interesting thing about grocery stores in Germany.. NO BAGS.. I didnt know that so I had to carry 2 big bottles (1.5l bottles), 2 cans of Rockstar, 2 tins of gum, and a pringles. God lord, fortunately my pants have alot of pockets in it. I still had to carry the bottles and the pringles.
I got the stuff back.. the minibar couldn't hold the bottles, but the cans were fine, and I poured coke into the two glasses I had and put them in the fridge it was nice for later. So I listened to Aderlass vol 7, I think there will be more songs to add to Mays player.
I got to Agra by 6:30, plenty of time to get in for the show. What sucked was I needed to use the restroom.. or outhouse is more like it out at Agra.. ha ha.. so I went and the line was short, thankfully, but when I got back I lost some distance.. but it was better to get that out of the way. The concert was awesome. Erk does a great show... he played alot of the good stuff.. only the good ones from Noise Diary. The only annoying this was this couple in front of me in Rotersand shirts, and the girl was dancing around, and the guy was giving her space. I am sure they were married, you can tell... and for a while too.. he made sure she didn't bump into him.. and that was pissing me off, because he was backing up into me.. and I didn't want to be that close to his old ass! I would guess they were 40ish, both of them, he had mostly gray hair.. and the woman was pissing these two girls off cuz one of them was bitty, and definitely didn't want this woman bumping into her.
When Rotersand came on... I was able to move up.. things got interesting.. cuz while I waited, this girl talked to this guy next to me, and then to me. I forget what she said.. but we found out this guy, Will was from Phoenix, and this other girl who actually lives in Leipzig now, used to live in Phoenix.. this German girl Katya was really nice, and pretty obvious she loved to talk. Her husband was there.. I don't know what his name was... you get tossed so many names... how can you remember them all.. he didn't talk alot. Katya is from Berlin (and no shes not the one I was a tool for, more on that later) So we all hit it off pretty good.. Katya and I were chummy during the concert. Rotersand was pretty similar show to Frozen Plasma, but the lead singer was awesome, he got into the crowd a couple times and was talking.. he came by me.. and I shook his hand, it was pretty cool. Katya and I went apeshit over the same songs.. like Almost Violent.. it was the first Rotersand I heard. I noticed this girl behind us who was totally my type... I love brunettes of course.. (though I don't like them exclusively..

) So would glance back whenever I got a chance, and shared a smile... Katya and I got stuck to each other, cuz she had like mesh like leggings and her leggings caught on a button on my side pocket on my pants. So I buttoned the pocket up (its the pocket I holster my journal in, and I hadn't buttoned it.) well the pretty girl seemed to like but she was there with a guy, but they weren't very close. the only way that I knew they were a couple was that he did put his arms around her.. my guess its a date, early in the relationship I would guess since there wasn't alot of affection. Thing was that she got behind me, and I could feel her brush against me sometimes. she was a bit shorter than me, so it wouldn't make to much sense to be behind me like that. Well.. what could I do about it.. pry her from her boyfriend and spirit her away? I'm not even good with that with women without a bfriend.. :S So after the concert, Katya wanted to have us all get a beer.. so we went over need the booth where they were serving beer (damn I'm writing long.. are you still reading?) and talked a little to her husband, and Will, and this girl who was from Arizona, and this guy who was from Puerto Rico. He mentioned he wanted to get something to eat. but he only had 1 euro 70, which wouldn't be enough to get anything.. so I gave him my change.. like 80 cents, and Katya gave him 90 cent, and he got something to eat. I didn't have any single euro or 2 euro coins, or I would have given him that.
My legs were tired so we sat throughout X marks the pedwalk. I only recognized 2 songs... one was the classic song Abbitoir and of course the new one called Seventeen.. he started off with that one. I didn't catch most of the concert, Katya and I were talking alot, on alot of things... like German language... her being an English translator, umm we talked about music...I think we talked about other things too... I guess her husband lets her do all the talking.. haha..
Well Leatherstrip came on.. so we got up nearly to the front.. you ll see in the pics when I post them. Not the very front, but there was only one row of people in front of us. So Leatherstrip was the Combichrist of the 90s.. and while he played a couple new ones, Claus played almost all his oldies, like Strap Me Down, Don't Tame Your Soul.. his cover of Sex Dwarf.... anyway the middle of the dance floor turned into a mosh pit.. and that moved alot of the girls into our area.. in front of me.. one of them didn't stick around, which is too bad cuz she was pretty.. the other stuck around and I found was quite pretty.. she turned back to me and said something in German, and while I didn't get the words, she motioned to her left where the mosh pit was.. and I knew she was saying "can you stand to the left to protect me from the mosh pit loonies?" So I did... always to help a damsel in Distress. Well.. no matter how strong I am, when a flood of bodies are pushed at you, you are going to be moved... and I got pushed into her.. but I put my arm around her waist to keep from bumping her hard, and.. I really just wanted to put my arm around her. I kept my arm around long enough to enjoy it, but not so long as to hopefully not have her notice that I enjoyed it.. or maybe she did. She didn't care, in fact, one time I said sorry after I let go of her, and she said that was why she wanted me to move there.. I found out that she was from Berlin and I told her I was from Seattle.. she was a pretty blonde girl, maybe 5 foot 3, blue eyes, very pretty... I was trying to work up the nerve to use some German like "Ich heisse Mark." and "du bist sehr schön" but not long after that this dude came over by us, and she started talking to him. She poked him.. so I guessed they were together.. I stepped back a little and thought maybe if she cared, after the concert shed say something to me. She said a couple things to that guy but no obvious signs of affection... but they must have been together.. cuz when she left, she didn't say anything to me... THAT is why I felt like a tool.
I am almost out of time.. Katya left with her hubby before that.. thought I would see them next door to hear Johan of Suicide Comanndo to DJ, but I didn't.. I have more but it was pretty uneventful and I gotta go... fill you in more tomorrow.
