Not only are these amazingly beautiful Octopods but they are rather hardcore.
Not only is the Blanket Octopus immune to to the poison of the Portuguese Man O War (another amazing collection of creatures) it actively seeks them out. Upon finding one, the Blanket Octopus will rip off one of the tendrils and carry it around using for hunting and protection..
With the billowing cape and weapons there is a distinct batman like tendency to them
