And call it lunch.
My photographer is a really fun lady so I'm really excited to finally work with her. We already have an awesome lake set planned for next time
I found out some interesting stuff this month. Apparently my son and I have a gluten intolerance.
Which sucks cause I LOVE bread. But it's nice to not be covered in itchy red patches and have a stomach ache everytime I eat.
So I'm broke as a joke and trying to convert to gluten free eating. It's pretty hard because I love to bake so a lot of my usual dinner recipes include bread. I make calzone, pizza, empanadas and enchiladas and tacos with flour tortillas at least once a month.
So if anybody has any hints for enjoying the gluten free life on a serious budget let me know.
In less serious news. I have a new bra that actually fits.... And I'm a 32 DDD.... AT Victoria's secret.

Also these undies don't get enough love.

I brought out the rainbow eyes this week. It had been too long

We're "in talks"
This is going to rock.
I'm getting a new tattoo next Thursday and I spent Monday doing this at Victoria's secret and getting to pick out some things to take home:

As well as not cooking, cleaning or otherwise lifting a finger. I think E new how much of a bummer last year was and tried really hard to make up for it.
My friend brought me this from on top of a mountain in Madeira Portugal. My mom is from Portugal so it was a pretty epic surprise. It's also damned delicious. Dangerously so.

Summer is here and I'm loving it.

We started a house hunt after deciding we're pretty sick of shitty, rundown apartments but, turns out we can't get financing until E's job finally hires him on as an employee instead of a temp. We're both going to do some school stuff in the meantime with some of the money we saved for the down payment and try not to hate our surroundings for a bit longer.
I'm really nervous about the college thing. I never went to school because I was homeschooled and I've never been to college so I'm worried my brain won't accept the teaching style of college professors.
I guess there's only one way to find out
Get busy updating on your weekend activities people!
So far my weekend has been amazingly slow and relaxing for once. I might even say I'm a little bored. Which isn't something I could say for the last few months.
As far as news and updates:
My glasses broke

Which means I will be saving up for new glasses and an eye appointment and will probably end up with an entirely different set of glasses on my face
Luckily I can see about 5 feet in front of me without them and I have a few pairs of contacts still left.
I'm pretty sure the set I took while hiking is not actually SG material at all but... I might open a zivity account for it
I'm going to finish it up probably today and look it all over together but, It was taken with a phone camera. It's a nice phone camera and they are pretty clear shots but, the lack of angles and distances in the photos make it look pretty amateurish.
Luckily I have a big, beautiful DSLR now that I've been pining after for over 5 years + and we can go up sometime and take them again and be a little more invested.
I have another location that I really want to shoot at also but, I'm still having serious issues finding photographers in the area that I feel comfortable working with or who even know about Suicide Girls.
My other big news is that I've opened a new Etsy shop for my hippie mom stuff. My original Etsy is sort of feeling dead to me. I've just used it to sell off things that I no longer use or want.
The new one is here
I'm starting off with some of my wool soakers and polymer clay jewelry for now but, I have a few tricks up my sleeve for other items that will be coming later.
I'm pretty excited about it. I have trouble finishing big projects so having a shop full of smaller ones will be much easier to manage I think.
I finally took pictures in my super cute panties from gujsel

And this is one my fiance snagged the other day of me in my favorite shirt and some new shorts making an awesome derp face.

What's up with your weekend?
In more exciting news.... I went on an epicly gorgeous and intense hike yesterday and ended up getting naked in the falls in the middle of the woods and taking some pics.
So, I'm in the process of editing my first non- pregnant attempt at an SG hopeful set. It's really gorgeous and was totally unplanned. I hope the lack of interesting angles doesn't affect it too much. Either way it was tons of fun to shoot and I can't wait to get it all ready and submitted.
Here's an unfinished teaser shot just cause I'm so damned excited

I got to go on a baby free date to the firing range and dinner afterwards with my hunny. It was pretty spectacular seeing as we've only been out together baby free one other time since O was born
I also got to try Menchie's frozen yogurt for the first time and I'm a huge fan. I love adding toppings at the end. And I like it better than marble slab because I get to decide how much of each
I got two un traditional gifts from my dude that I may have sort of influenced a little bit
A purple coated nonstick frying pan and this awesome shirt:

I got really organized this week and made a meal plan which I've never done before. I have 3 weeks of food purchased and planned on my dry erase board calendar. Most of which will yield leftovers that will make great lunches or frozen dinners for later on. It was a little exhausting shopping for everything in one day with a toddler in tow. especially since I had to hit 3 different stores but, I got my sister to come along and she loves playing with her little nephew so I don't think the boy missed my attention at all.
Work has been pretty fun lately. I have projects I really care about and can put some effort and love into to make them really spectacular.
Currently working on a number from Les Miserables, a Brittney Spears "Circus" number, and a broadway style Mary Poppins with flying people and everything
Hiking in the cove. 2 weekends ago. So so beautiful. It was relatively warm, critters were out and the bub was a great little hiking buddy
Got to go on a date to the shooting range with my honey and took some fun pics at home afterwards with my favorites ![]()
Picked up some .45 magnum shells to use as ear guages once I cut them shorter

And discovered that even though I've done little to no shooting since I was 13 years old. I'm actually not bad shot.

I'm planning to focus more on learning to protect myself and my son this year and maybe get my hand gun carry permit if I feel like I am ready.
With the current political climate causing alot of confusion for people who were never educated about guns and gun rights I am more determined than ever to take exercise my second amendment rights to protect myself and my loved ones against violent, cruel or mentally ill people who, hopefully will have less of a chance to do harm to innocent people if more sane and educated folks are ready to help our over burdened law enforcement personnel.
I've always found it a little unnerving that there are about 400 people under the protection of each regular police officer on average across the nation and since I'm not particularly fond of living in heavily populated areas with lots of neighbors the availability of an armed police officer is even less likely should I or my family need help.
End of political/ heavy stuff ![]()
I have a new phone. It's an iphone 3. I can't use most of the apps currently available in the apple store because the software on the phone is not updated enough for it. But, it was free and it runs so much better than my old phone and has a bigger, clearer screen and a better camera.
This is now my screen saver ![]()
