Hi! I haven't updated in a month so I thought I'd share a couple of things I've been up to. Most notably; RYAN ADAMS! I've seen this guy at least 9 times in 4 different countries but it's never not exciting for me to see him live. He was in a surprisingly good mood and played some of the old, some new, and one amazing Dio cover! (Holy Diver, of course.) Someone put a bunch of songs from that night on YouTube so you can view them here. This is one of my favorite DRA songs, even more beautiful acoustic than the Cardinals version. I bought a signed cassette tape of one of his many side-projects, this one called 'The Shit', but haven't listened to it yet.

I also (finally!) saw the beautiful Chelsea Wolfe 2 weeks ago which was fantastic. I was entranced by her haunting performance and electric blue eyes. Go see her if you can. Here's a video from the show.

I am SUPER stoked that Diablo III is finally out, and have been lurking online for videos and reviews but haven't played it yet myself. Knowing how addicted I was to both previous editions in high school, I can't afford to lose a lot of precious time to gaming right now. I'm fiending hard and must get my hands on it as soon as I have a little less things to do. (2 jobs, studies, a language course, etc. don't really give me a lot of time at the moment for engaging in battling evil.) I do however already know that I'm going to be a female witch doctor with a pack of zombie wolves. My boyfriend definitely made fun of me last night.

Zivity's New Model Prize is ending today, and although it looks like I'm ending in 4th place you can still vote if you feel so inclined. PM me if you want a free one-month trial account!
