yeah, i know they can't ask about it but a bulk of my experience comes from there so I put it on my resume. They know before they even call me in for an interview. The individuals in my blog specifically made statements like" I really like you and your resume, but I don't want to hire you because you could be deployed soon." and etc. they were small private law firms (like, one or two attorneys in the firm) but this is a military town. good luck to them to find someone who isn't connected to the mil. in some sort of way. I have an interview monday and if this guy says something like that, I'm gonna drop the good ole" well, i can sue someone for discriminating against me for that reason" line.
they have the burden of proof to prove they didn't discriminate. thankfully, the laws in these areas protect the soldier way more than the employer. One good thing bush has done. ;P
