I'm really sad.
I had to put down my dog a few days ago. I've been a wreck, even now I'm bawling my eyes out. So I'm going to tell you a bit about her.
She was found abandoned up North outside of Iqaluit, her and her siblings were found in the woods. Her brothers went euthanized right away, but she was put into a rescue program, which is how I found her. She was part Malamute, part wolf. Which may be one of the reasons they didn't want to keep her up there.
She was hard to train, wouldn't listen to anyone except me and my ex.
She loved winter, would sleep in the snow. She didn't like a lot of people, or dogs really. I couldn't take her to dog parks, and she couldn't be around certain people, especially women. She was very protective of me, and scared a lot of people.
She grew up to be taller than me on her hind legs and I'm 5'8". She had really wide shoulders, well if you've ever seen a wolf you can picture it.
She didn't bark, she cooed. If you howled, she'd throw back her head and howl with you. Or if a siren went by.
I'm having a really really hard time dealing with this. So sorry if I'm not around much.
Here are some of my favourite pictures of her.

Can someone try to cheer me up? Please?
