How come when we leave our comfort zone, we are more able to focus on what needs to be done and actually accomplish tasks that will benefit our future? BUT! when we are in our comfort zone, we slack off to all high heaven ad never get anything done even though we know it will be detrimental in the long run.
I have been sitting here, trying to study for my boards exam for the past 2.5 hours, have accomplished nothing, stared at the same 5 pages of notes and not remembered a thing. But last month, when I was away at a test prep facility, away from my home and out of my zone, I was studying and being productive and accomplishing and remembering things like crazy! I get home on Saturday after that month long training and I fall right back into my old habits and get nothing done.
Pretty pissed about this downward turn of events! Only 20 days left to get about 500 drugs memorized, and review 2 years of Med school knowledge in order to pass this damn exam and here I am not being productive. Today, I am officially my own worst enemy. KHHHHAAAANNNN!
