Sooo I started a new job. I'm doing motion graphics ads and online commercials for an online advertising agency called Media Zone. Not exactly my dream job, and advertising isn't my cup of tea, especially since alot of online advertising is fucking annoying as hell and hard on the eyes. So while in a way I'm being paid mostly well to join the devil's ranks and continue this pointless clutter on the net, hopefully I can make something that dosnt utterly suck as much as half the shit out there.
It's not a job I see myself being in for a long time, but it pays the bills and keeps me out of debt. I'm actually pretty lucky to have landed this job right out of college, at the first place I applied to. I'm grateful for the job, and the fact that they don't care that my hair is bright pink, which is pretty cool. It would be cooler if my boss was a Batman fan, but he's all about some Superman, so I guess we're going to have to have a chat about that.
Another thing I can't quite get into is the M-F 9-5 work week, and the buisness casual dress code. I'm not a corporate person at all, and I don't like the feeling of working an office space kind of job, but this will do for now. I'm also not a domestic person, so at least by being corporate it keeps me from being at the new apartment and feeling like I should try to clean or cook or something.
Here's to a new job, a new apartment, a "new" car, no college or classes for the first time in my life, and no relationship.
I think I just may just quailify for the Most Changes in a Lifetime Award. I should go prep my speech and thank the little people.
