I've had a hard time excepting my weight gain as well. That along with getting older.
Interestingly enough, my attitude seems to overshadow my short comings.
Your attitude could make your curvy self an amazing asset. The people that really know you will love you for it.
I think a punk Bridget Jones would be outstanding. A tad bit neurotic, but fun as hell.
