age: 29 (Nov 01, 1983)
MEMBER SINCE: October 2006
occupation: Belly Dancer
i lost my virginity: but i think it may just be lodged under the chase lounge....
stats: 5'5, 105lbs, long fingers, green eyes, crazy curls, covered in small brown freckles. 34-24-36
heroes: Ina May Gaskin, Alice Walker, Rachel Brice, Mother Jones, Twwly, and my grandmothers.
most humbling moment: Soyrizo farts
gets me hot: lately it smells like coconuts.
makes me sad: people who yell at their kids in the grocery store. people who use words like, 'retarded' and 'gay' for stupid. seeing animals get hurt or die. other stuff. mostly unkindess. and bigger stuff like war and global warming. wasted garden space. Bad music in public spaces when there's no easy escape. also, when people chew really loud. that makes me very sad.
into: belly dance, bikhram yoga, hatha yoga, ashtanga, etc. raw fruits and veggies. good vegan food, cooking, human anatomy, bicycles, walks in alley ways, urban gardens, gardening, self sustained living, singing, playing piano, jug bands, dumpster diving, painting, drawing, hula hooping, and travle.
fantasy: right now it involves lots and lots of travle, staying in bed til noon, hot morning sex and vegan breakfast in bed. (what's crazy is i wrote the above statement months ago, and then it came true.) :)
body mods: work in progress. stretched ears (4's), nose ring, tattoos on right hip and left thigh, also peacock feathers on my back.
makes me happy: corny jokes, tasteless jokes, dancing, juicy beats, beautiful graf art, huge flocks of birds, our kitty, good sunrises, ripe figs, kundalini, burning man, travel, surprises.
We were blessed to leave with a whole bunch of lettuce, peas, kale, and oyster mushrooms that were all harvest fresh from their garden. I also brought home a huge bunch of calendula which I will be using to make a healing salve soon, once the flowers are dried out. We were also gifted some small seedlings of heirloom tomatoes, melons, beans, lavender, calendula, snap dragon and peas for our garden. So far we have about 100 sq feet in garden beds dug, and counting! I imagine there will be lots of digging in the dirt and planting tomorrow.
I'll post more photos and updates soon. Travel decompression commences in 3....2....
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..........
