UPDATE!

1) My friend's play "Game Theory" is almost over, we close tomorrow. It was such a fun experience. It's such a shame everyone I know is talented and poor, we can't give each other real paying jobs, but we can appreciate the hell out of each other.

2) I'm a slacker - I have done nothing to move yet and I need to be out next week. Hopefully, I'll get off my butt and get moving on this moving tomorrow. smile (I DON'T like to move it, move it... oh boy, I'm tired and that was lame. )

3) One of these days I WILL do a stage show that's half deep south blues and half Bollywood movie: &

4) On my last day in VA me and a gang of friends will go downtown and rage... like musical theatre geeks (really, if I was staying, I'd push for the musical theatre camp to do this as a big number for the parents, I think there's nothing cuter than 7 to 17 year olds play pirates... the least sneaky pirates ever. Ninja fail.)

5) I'll probably post an essay here soon that I'm writing "In Defense of Art" basically railing against the notion that educators and policy makers know arts are important but they are still the first courses cut instead of finding creative ways to integrate them in essential programming.

6) No news on the job hunt yet - I'm planning on moving home for at least a month and then out to RI for my birthday week to take classes and then out to CA for my summer job.

7) My mom thought she was dying from eating potato chips and a ham sandwich (too much salt aggravating her blood pressure) to which I say I never want to age past 60 - it seems terrible. But she found out that my dad has been giving her naproxen (she's allergic) instead of her blood pressure medicine. To which I say - I don't want to get past the age of 60 when all pills look the same and could kill you in your sleep.

ASIDE: My dad hooked himself up to my mom's cancer machine that monitors her heart and proudly announced to me on the phone that he was officially a dead man setting the table for dinner. To which I replied, he would because he's a fancy and proper zombie. My family is sometimes amazing. smile

8) BLEH - I hate being short and fat. In a sense it's all in my mind, but in another sense, I just really wish I was 5'7" and 100 lbs.

9) I watched "Food, Inc." last night and I do not like beef or pork too well, but I love chicken. Then I found out that chickens sound like babies crying when they are slaughtered. I never want to eat ever, ever again. (PS: I might get tested for food allergies when I get to Pittsburgh, since I have been feeling generally yucky when I eat dairy and bread. tongue) *sigh* Food stinks in this country sometimes.

10) ANYWAY - I'm out, boyscout. Now all the hot girls throw your hands up and say "Om Shanti Om!" wink

I loves and misses ya internet brethren. kiss

"Deewangi Deewangi" is probably one of my favoritest Bollywood songs ever, except for maybe "Dum Maro Dum."

Dairy and bread make me feel yucky in large quantities, too (excepting eggs, which are usually classified as dairy). I think they're probably less good for us than we've been led to believe.

And I think ambushing public spaces with musical theatre is a very cool idea. wink

Miss you, lady!

I think being old could be okay. And short/curvy girls are always fun.

I want to shake my fist at whippersnappers and look at boobies all the time with the excuse that I am a dirty old man.

Not that I don't look at boobies all the time now but I have to be craftier.

Bollywood + Deep South Blues needs to happen!! You could do a a twist on "Much Ado About Nothing" with big Southern weddings... That would be something I would watch.

I think one of the reasons policy-makers don't find creative ways of funding the Arts is because they lack creativity in general... which then leads to a lack of appreciation for the arts. A vicious circle.

It's clearly all in your head my dear, as I happen to think you look great the way you are.

Cheers and best of luck with moving (it),
