Emotionally the Aries girl in me is charging forward. My head is lowered and my horns on full display, my hooves trampling everything underneath me in a trail of flames.

A Kylie Minogue song just came on the radio. *hissing demonic noise comes out of throat*

Between self-discoveries emerging, the start of a new semester, my dying dad, and more email warfare with Natalie, I feel like I am past the point of feeling anything. Like emotionally, i'm re-enacting the lobby scene from the Matrix and gunning down anything in my path.

My laughs are the loudest, my roars are the mightiest, my tears are the saltiest.

And absolutely nothing will get in the way of this full-on charge. I feel like i'm moving at a thousand miles an hour and if you want to keep up with me, then chase. Fight with me. But if not, you're going to get left behind.

My friends have been there for me now more than ever. I see now who will be with me to the end and who will fall away.

Moving to New York is starting to look better and better. My hairdresser told me that some recent poll found that San Francisco has the ugliest women in the US! Well, that explains why i'm the darling of the 20 year old dyke circle around here. Anyway, that city is bigger, there are more lesbian hangouts, and on top of that, the lesbian craigslist forum in NYC was making fun of the lesbian craigslist forum in SF because they say we are always bitchy and our community is so incohesive. They're right, you know.

I should move to the city with the largest amount of publishers and dykes in the US. Maybe I could find love in The Village like in an Ann Bannon novel.

As soon as I graduate, i'm out.

Well, you have to do what makes you happy. When you do, you will be greatly missed.

Sounds like you are a woman on a mission....I have been lacking drive in the past....I have a degree and 3 majors...over 100 grand in education and i have been bumbling around the past few years. Recently i have started to take the bull by the horns as well (i guess an aries thing) and am turning my life full circle (i hope) Good luck...you are a strong woman and you will be fine. You sound like the type of person that would be happy in New York...the Village is a fun place.

Oh, by the way, Houston does not really have the "leather daddy" scene...i guess they might but i am not into that....i think it is a bit more conservative here....just dykes in flannel and boots....not really my thing ya know....

Don't worry - there are plenty of unattractive dykes in NY as well... *sigh*
but NY is prettty damn cool. Its just the really small apartments and huge
huge rents that keep me from moving there.
