Ok, so I think I might have won the literary contest my school was holding!!! The English department was having a contest, and the categories were Fiction, Creative Non-Fiction, Poetry, and Critical Essays. I submitted to everything but Critical Essays. Anyway, one of my professors called me up on the phone:
"Bionic, the English department is having a pizza party this thursday...I STRONGLY suggest you be there." -Professor
"Why?" -Me
"Just because." -Professor
"Does this have anything to do with the writing contest?" -Me
"Buhhh...no..." -Professor
"Did I win anything?" -Me
"There are honorable mentions in each category..." -Professor
"Aw well screw that, i'm not going if I got second place. Besides, I'm leaving town because I have to go home for a dental appointment." -Me
"NO!!! YOU CAN'T GO HOME! YOU HAVE TO COME TO THE CEREMONY!!!" -Professor
"Hmm...why would I have to go if I didn't win anything?" -Me, smiling over phone
"Ahh. Crap. When you go, just act surprised. 'Oh, for me?' Ok if anybody asks, we never spoke on the phone. We never spoke, I didn't tell you anything." -Professor
*In Russian spy accent* "The summers are warm in Moscow, comrade" -Me
"...Meh whatever be there!!! I just want to tell you that all of the English professors in the department are very proud of you." -Professor
DOOOOD!!!!!! IF I WON FIRST PLACE, I GET 100 BUCKS!!! HELL MUTHAFUCKIN YEAH. Mmm...maybe I will get a bottle of Allure or Godiva chocolates to celebrate...
OMG. This is the best week ever for me. My writing seems to be taking off lately, and I fully intend to perform at the same open mic as Michelle Tea this friday and give out chapbooks. Maybe she can hook me up with a publisher! I'll have to flirt shamelessly with her.
Things have been looking up. My mom gave me a silver necklace yesterday with the Aries constellation symbol on it in diamonds, because she didn't give me a 21st birthday present. It matches an identical necklace that she wears with the symbol of Scorpio. I like wearing my baby collar.
I THINK IT MIGHT BE A GOOD LUCK CHARM! MAYBE IT IS A MAGICAL AMULET!

well my book is as far from personal expierience as i can get
it is about a serial killer who uses time honored methods of execution to kill people who more or less deserve it ( he dosen't pick people at random they are weel planned and thought out)
the thing that is bogging me down is the research i want it to be acurate and therefore must get all the info i need i am currently interviewing an ex FBI man through email for his insights
