About Me
I need to put something more interesting up here. I will save this important task for when I should be working on my thesis.
age: 31 (Jun 28, 1980)
MEMBER SINCE: January 2006
occupation: rock nerd
i lost my virginity: to a girl who took advantage of me when I was drunk. not complaining though...
most humbling moment: i dunno... probably lots
gets me hot: hoooo boy. lotsa stuff.
stats: I took stats once... it sucked
into: beer, music, women, rocks and shiny metal ooouuuu, oh, and guitar. sometimes scotch, also
Wow! Two weeks I've been back at "home" in positively balmy Ottawa, and I've finally returned to my "real" home out here in Edmonton. It's good to be back - funny how your life sorta goes on hold when visiting family.
I hope everyone had a good christmas and new years - mine were both suuuuuper laid back. I got to see loads of friends I hadn't seen in years, which obviously rocked hard-core. It was like a temporary escape from the reality of this immense thesis that I'm supposed to be finishing up. So from now until mid-May, it is very probable I will have almost no life so that I can get this thing done. It's going to be brutal, but at the end of it I will never have to do school ever again. Then I can get one of those "real jobs" that I hear so much about! Just like what shearzone just got down in Calgary, but more field-job-like, and hopefully somewhere fun like sweeden or australia or something (I just applied for a job in Sweeden - wish me luck!)
In other news, my rent goes up by $190 at the end of this month. Stupid albertan "free enterprise"... how can people afford shit like that? If was going to be here later than May, I'd have to move!
Happy New Years to you all!
