I'm not someone who is enthralled by lyrics generally, I'm more enthralled by patterns and rhythms within the sound, it doesn't have to be dramatic or extravagant either, Just something that may catch my ear.
Nick Cave on the other hand, his lyrics I adore. His songs are so narrative and poetic, they paint such vivid pictures and themes. How he manages to fit so many lyrics in to one line and make it work is also another feat I admire!!
