Update:
Some of you may have noticed my lack of visiting this site lately... Sorry I haven't gotten back to anyone! I miss you all very much.
The last two weeks I was working extra hard to get ready for each of the shoots for the music video. I think it's going to look pretty amazing!! We filmed over the weekends. The first weekend, I think I barely got any sleep. By the end I felt like a zombie and my brain was moving at about half the speed it's supposed to. I was so sore and sleepy and grumpy and annoyed, and all I was thinking about at the end of the weekend was how I wish I could do that every day and not have to go back to the bank the next day.
I ended up getting more mad at the bank for various reasons that I don't care to go into, so I called in sick on the next Saturday (the 31st) to go to the shoot I was originally going to be very late for. It was a much better day. The day after that, I skipped the last day of filming in order to go with my sister to a wedding expo. It's not every day your twin gets married, so I want to be as much a part of the process as I can be! Everything was beautiful. And she even won a personalized engraved sign, $250 value!
Last night I finally got to celebrate my boyfriend Keith's birthday with him. He's an April Fool's baby. And I'm glad because I'm already working on packing for the weekend. I have a 6 am flight out to Washington State on Friday and I'll be getting back late Sunday. Going for Sakura Con to help my friend Jen sell her comics and merchandise. Apparently I'm really good at the sarcastic sales pitch.
"I bet you like tshrits..."
"Why do you say that?"
"Because you're wearing one."
Don't ask how it works. I think we're all just looking for a little humor after many many many hours of convention and seeing the same things. And I'm certainly amused at how the conversations unfold. I'll update with pictures of the con, hopefully. My camera is being very difficult, but maybe I can fix it for the weekend. I don't have any other pictures from the shoot to share. My friend Tony (the other half of the art department) was the one taking pictures the whole time. I'll see if I can share some of them when the video is put together and ready to launch.
Here are some pictures from the 18th since I have nothing else to show. Keith and I went for an 8 mile bike ride. The length didn't seem difficult until I found out it was on gravel in the woods with hills up and down for about 80% of the trail... So I was dead by the end, but it was fun and felt good to make use of the nice weather!

Good news is that this last video project has gotten me in contact with some people that think they can help me get my next SG shoot off the ground. Thank you all for being so patient. I tend to have complicated ideas that take a lot of planning and prep work. Once we have everything together, then all I have to do is find a day when everyone involved is available. I'm hoping this will all be very soon!
