Life has changed for me over the past year or so. I've gotten healthier, and I've been enjoying life more than ever lately.
Also, I have recently paid my respects to Steve Jobs at the 5th Avenue Apple store.

I think it's time to update for the first time since god knows when...

NYC in December

NYC in December
Operation full sleeve is in effect! I spoke to my tattoo artist, Ethan Morgan at East Side Ink a few days ago and we set a date of March 6th to start session 1 of 4 or maybe 5 sessions, he told me that it's going to take a couple of months to get done. I custom made a book with screen shots of what I want, printed then bound it into a book, just to give him an idea as to what I want him to draw out (Metal Gear game series). He told me that the bound book that I made for him was the biggest reference he's ever gotten! Which was pretty funny. Also I made sure that he knew that I want the colors to be vibrant and light. I am uber excited and I can not wait!
Okay, well I am a big fan of the Metal Gear series, especially the classic Metal Gear Solid. Moreover I am due for some ink work. So... I decided to put the two together and I'm working on getting a sleeve of an action scene from the Metal Gear Solid game. Now this brings several challenges to the table. For one; what action scene should I do? Those of you that know the Metal Gear series, know that there are a lot of action sequences. Or should I put some characters together and make up my own action scene? Another idea I have is to go for nice, bright colors to my sleeve, Rigel's sleeve actually influenced me to do that. I'm light tone skinned, not as light as her but I think it would still look great, I want something that pops out. Not just another sleeve.
Well I have at least two months to have this completed...

I use to think that I was moderate when it comes to using a computer, I obviously knew that I 'knew' what I was doing; using certain programs, apps, keyboard shortcuts, troubleshooting... etc. But since working at the office at my job and seeing some people that have come up to me with the oddest questions, like a 42 year old guy with a B.A. and VP of his company is asking me how to attach a file to his e-mail to send it off to one of his associates, it makes me feel that I'm an expert compared to some people sometimes! Especially someone like me who is proficient in both Mac and PC based systems (preferably Mac). Sometimes I think I should be doing something better (job wise) with my "needed" skills in the field.
Just a thought

Just a thought

Well I'm thinking about doing some writing projects again, it's been quite a while. I'm also thinking of doing some podcasting stuff about SG. Watch out for something coming soon. *Back to the drawing board*
I'm wondering what's next in the world of SG for me? I wouldn't mind attending a SG show, it's been about 3 years since they have been to NYC. Lets wait and find out
It's been a long while but I think it's time to become an active member of SG once again; and this time it won't be a failed attempt.
Look out because I have some big things coming everyones way if everything works out to plan. I'll explain details another time... it's time to hop on the busy bus!!!

Oh how I missed SG land
Yes, I have been gone for a while; well to be almost exact (if theres such thing) I've been gone for about 9 months or so, it's felt a little longer than that for some reason. Anyway getting to the point I basically dropped off the SG map right after my trip to Los Angeles. The reason for this is because in simple terms my life changed pretty much when I got back home, I would say it changed for the better, I seeped out of my "boring" do nothing but college work lifestyle, living pretty much a more exciting life and getting myself a girlfriend. I moved in with my girlfriend (Stephanie) in Bronx, NY
I'm pretty happy about that also.
A lot has happened since I left SG but it's just one of those things where so much went on it's just too much to put in words, but I'm back and I'm here to stay
oh yeah
I'm going to assume right up-front that I'm not going to be as active as I was before since I'm sooo busy but I'm not going to neglect SG, I'll still be on; minglling updating and so on.
P.S. speaking of Los Angeles I'm headed back overthere with my girl at the end of Feb
