Allergies are messing with me today and my head hurts
I stayed up 'till 5 AM working on songs again
what I came up with is not very satisfactory. I got caught up in the knobtwiddling, there's my downfall.
I read somewhere that the areas of the brain that control creativity and technical problem solving are on opposite halves. The left and right sides of my brain don't make a good team, or so it would seem.
I enjoy the process of setting up my gear and engineering the recording session more than songwriting.
If you've never been in a band before you'd think it would be easier 'cause all you'd have to do is concentrate on playing your part. That's mostly true. But I always complicate shit for myself by being Mr. Know-it-all and trying to run sound at the same time.
I will now attempt to broker peace between my left and right brains with the miracle of cannibus.

My favorite part is the show. I love to be on stage in front of lots of people giving it all I have. I love the feeling of everyone watching me but being unable to get close. It's complete control and power when I'm up there.
