Well...
A little bit of bad news, at least for me! After a great deal of mental wrangling, I've decided to give up Suicidegirls for a couple of months. Half of me is gutted, but the other half knows it's necessary.
I've been housesitting for my sister all week and have managed to sort out a great deal of overdue issues.
First and foremost, I've negotiated with my evil employers to release me from my contract a little early, so I'll be quitting right at the end of next week. Joy! Rapture!
This leads directly into the other big deal...what I'm going to do next...
A very good friend of mine and I have planned to set up on our own, doing the kind of work that we like to do(for a great deal less financial incentive, but totally worth it). This week we sat down, ran over figures, and what it will take to make a relative success of things without taking out a HUGE loan from the grey suited slave-masters down at our local bank.
Fuck me...a lot of work. A scary amount of work. The amount of work that makes me want to crawl into a fetal position and sob quietly to myself while no one else is looking. I'm sweating...but excited. Quite kinky, really.
In practical terms, it means working something close to eighteen hour days up to the end of the year(which I'm thinking to myself, isn't far far away). But, who needs sleep, anyway? At least we'll both be able to have some fun with it, which is sadly lacking in both our current positions.
Soooooooo....I love Suicidegirls. I mean it, I really do. Not just because of the more obvious reasons, like the tidal wave of firm, tattooed flesh on display and the very sexy attitudes of the women involved, but for the members and the real sense of community here. It's a hell of a lot of fun, I've got to admit. This is the first website, I've EVER paid for and Andy is a very, very satisfied customer.
Which is why I have to give it up for a couple of months.
I am seriously addicted!
