You know when you get approached by a junkie asking for change, you bow your head, and speed up a bit.

I did that recently, and I really didn't have any cash on me.

as I was passing, the guy said "andy?"

It was one of my old Muay Thai instructors, Glen.

we sat and talked for a while, and he's messed up a bit, and got back on the gear.

it really broke my heart, and I was a bit angry, as until that point, I really looked up to him.

so when I got home, I contacted the local rehab agencies, and got all the information I needed to help him out, next time I saw him.

so last week, I saw him again, and he'd had a moment, and booked himself in with Turning Point, the best of the rehab lot in Sheffield.

I hope he gets sorted, because he's a thoroughly good bloke, but I couldn't allow him to come and stay with me in the state he is currently in.
