Oh ! I am so sorry to hear that you and your husband are having difficulites. It must be terrible to be separated like this. I know that it's hard to know how things will be in the future, and so I can understand why you might be worried about your future.

And yes, these are the things that an ED and depression loves to feed on.

I hope you will not let yourself be too alone? You must have many friends where you are, so I hope you will let yourself reach out to them when you are feeling down and....well....hopeless.

It is not good to hide when we are feeling bad, but yes, I know how easy it is to do that.

Thank you for honoring me with this note. I believe you are a good hearted person, and maybe that is more important than you realize.

No, not myself. I had a close F2F friend who passed away, and I also have had a lot of web friends who have struggled with that over the years. They have invided me to be on their boards, so I know a bunch of people through various boards too.

So I kind of have an idea of how it goes.

Yes, it was a very tragic thing, for sure. Of course not everyone dies, but it really did open my eyes to the sorts of problems people can have. And how those people are just....people, you know ?

She also was confined to the State Mental Hospital for about a year ( rather than them throwing her in jail for some things she had done, I suspect) so I got to hang out there quite a bit, and see what that was like.

That was all about 10 years ago, but I still think of her often.

Oh my ! How thoughtful of you to mention my B-day !
I wanted to say thanks for that link to BEAT that you posted on the ED board. It looks like a pretty cool organization. I do some work on some other ED boards, and often talk with people "over the pond" as it were, and it's good to know there is a resource like that in the UK I can mention to people.

hey thanks for your comment. It was months ago, you may not remember, but I really appreciated your input and I apologize for not writing back sooner. I was incredibly depressed and couldn't even hold myself together to answer some comments!

I agree that it was a good thing meeting the new guy. I'm still trying to figure out the purpose of it - a new relationship or a realization that leads to improvement of my old relationship? It's a chaotic, complicated, and confusing situation right now. The good news is that I have my emotions more under control than before. I'm still stuck in the middle - moreso than before - but I can think more clearly because I don't run around crying about everything.

You sound like a great guy by the way- mental health volunteer? lack of bitterness in people? I'm almost suspicious of you...

I'm the new mod of the BPD group. How about that, huh ? :- )

It's not too active, but at least it's there, and will provide a place for folks to post in the future.

I seem to be making it through the Holidays OK, and am staying with my dear sister and her family.

As a single person......family means more and more to me as time goes by. My sister and I seem to have resolved all the things that used to irritate us about each other, and boy.....it's really nice.

Now we can actually turn to each other and support each other when things are rough, and that's not anything I had in my life before. So.....a big plus in my life, for sure.

the list of things to do, is not from my head. its a song of Radiohead, but i really loved that song, because I agree with the all things what are there, you know? because i think that there is something really important in this song. So I thing that it could be my list of things what I have to do, to could be better
