age: 64 (Nov 30, 1948)
MEMBER SINCE: July 2007
occupation: Mod of SG Eating Disorders board, and SG BPD board. Modded other web boards for many years and work on Something Fishy too. I know many people with DID. Used to make that jewelery you see in high-end craft galleries.
body mods: Graying hair : It's organic, I earned it, I 'm liking it.
heroes: Richard Kluft Richard Fineman Hildie Bruche
i lost my virginity: When a good friend insisted.
sign: The one that looks like a teapot.
fantasy: That age really does not matter, as sympathetic web friends never cease telling me.
into: People being real. The Lake. Paying attention to every single thing that happens in nature. Birds are fine, but to be honest I'm paying more and more attention to bugs these days. I also mod the SG Eating Disorders and Borderline Personality groups. Good people, one and all.
makes me happy: Seeing friends make progress. Seeing my peony seedlings bloom for the first time. There are times when simply seeing my lawn being green feels good too.
stats: Getting further into my 60's with every passing year, and learning that a person can be somewhat OK with that. Take it from me : We're all in the same boat, and if you are fortunate, you'll find yourself up against the same thing yourself one day.
makes me sad: Seeing anyone loose hope. Seeing people take the easy way out. I mean, I know it happens, and that I do it too on occasion, but still...
crush: I had an absolutely stunning one recently , but she did a lot to confirm the idea that it's probably best to be careful if you hope to preserve your personal sense of ease.
It's that time of year to get hooked back up with nature and the long term garden projects.
We don't get big numbers of swifts like these on our side of the mountains, but this short video should give you an idea of how they can be at places that do :

Me and a friend are the offical counters for a counting project that's happening on the west coast. Most nights it's just me down there. A great way to spend the dusk each evening, and get a stiff neck too.
