At the moment I'm wondering ... what's the point with SG ?
I actually wonder if I'm staying on the site or not. We're like .... a lot of hopefuls, and many more motivated than me to do the stereotyped photosets asked to be done here in order to be a Suicide girl, oh my !
My newest set as a hopeful is becoming live on the 8th March, but I don't really care anymore. My photography work has recently taken a new direction, and I'm doing a lot of interesting things but, not here, not the kind of stuff that is to be done here.
I feel like SG won't bring me something new, at this point it's just another community site.
Nothing wrong about you guys, it's just me being so not self confident.I actually feel a lot better behind he camera rather than in front of it, and I guess I just don't have the time and motivation to be active here, and do better sets than what I did and all to try and become a SG or whatever. I'm not into socializing that much, and I'm not the kind of person to "promote" my sets or whatever, sooooooo I guess I'll just let my membership go and once it's expired well it's expired and thats all.

So I'm going to Salt Lake City soon. My photos will be exposed along with some other artists, including Grant Hamilton. So I'm super excited !!! But hurm, ok, back to down to earth things. I need to get a flight to go there and urgh, this is soooo expensive ! 
I hope I can save enough to get my tickets by the end of the month.
I don't really know how this happened. It's kinda crazy. I don't even have a real book online. I just sent some of my work and ... things worked out pretty well. For now I need to send them my scanned photos so the can put them in the catalogue of the exhibition.

be an hardcore activist today ! HO !So there was that totally crazy idea for a Set. Doing it with the bunch of expired instant films I had, before they'd turn too rotten to do anything with them. So. I don't know. It's totally not the kind of photos SG is used to maybe.
I got stuck by the fact that many pictures were too underexposed or too shitty to be used, so I chose the easy way mybe. Clean the borders, clean the dust, clean a bit the messy vignetting, but I obviously kept the uneven colors, the over saturation and the shitty bit that makes polaroid (and Holgaroid hohoho !) so unique. It will be either totally creative or a total no-no. Oh we'll see.I don't care if it's rejected cause it's not the formatted type of pics exiged here. At least it would have been some hardcore bare boobs polaroid activism ! HELL YEAH !

I have "repaired" my land camera, cause the battery inside was the original one from the end of the 60', so you can imagine the state the battery container was in. Hey but I'm hardcore with chemicals ! So I cleaned all that mess up, and made new connectors attached to the original wires to adapt a moderm 3V lithium battery. And it's rad ! I think it's the beginning of a serious relationship ! Madame Holga got a bit jealous I guess, so I'm sewing her a new leopard print case and I'm taking her out this afternoon ... I SO need to send my films to develop too. I should join a photography club in Nantes and do it myself !

It's been a long time right !!
Well, I've been moving to the west of France, and you know, all that stuff to do. My internet provider sucks and I had to wait like 6 weeks to have my phone line activated. I'm trying to start my own business so it takes me a lot of time.
I am more than ever into analogue photography, and it takes most of my spare time (when I have some!) as well as the usual knitting, sewing etc ...
This is handspun.
I bought a fish. It kinda helps me relax.
oh, and this is my new home !!
