makes me happy: 1/20/09! Great conversation. entertainment that moves me. Blue states. Simplicity. People who do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. '70s Elton John, and cheesy songs from pre-disco '70s AM radio... it totally takes me back to when I was a kid riding in the back of my parents station wagon on my way to play squirt and pee wee hockey.

gets me hot: This website, natch. Smart, pretty, funny, cool women. The brief scene in Sid & Nancy when Chloe Webb and Gary Oldman are kissing in an alley and garbage is falling all around them... a great visual. Sexy legs. Cute tummies. Nice hands. A little kink.

makes me sad: Racism and overall intolerance; when my favorite teams (Rangers, Giants, Yankees and Knicks) lose because they didn't try; debt; rudeness; people who act as if they're too cool for the room. Red states. Stupid celebrities (if they're going to make that goddamn much money, at least be interesting and able to articulate a coherent thought) That the NHL no longer matters.

most humbling moment: Pretty much everything from late Sept./Oct. 2001 to the present. :X
