So I just thought everyone should know that on Saturday I went to the Hall & Oates concert in Portland, and it was AMAZING!!! Best concert ever. Our seats weren't too bad, but then when the show was over we were able to walk up and stand right in front of the stage, we knew they'd have to do an encore 'cause they hadn't played all the real big hits yet. So then they came back out and played the rest of my favorite songs right in front of me! Then I got to touch Oates and the other guitarist... Paul something. And the creepy sax guy was checking me out the whole time, but I didn't touch him when he came over! I'm just sad I couldn't get closer to Hall. :/ Oh and Krys 'cause me a pick that Oates threw!

And I got a sweet retro shirt!

Now comes the sad part. After the show we went over to a friend's place and there was a pool. So I decided to jump in... and I forgot that my iPhone was in my bra!

So it's probably dead for good, although it's in rice now, just in case. So I lost all the awesome videos I took at the concert! And my collection of dirty photos probably can't be salvaged either. Dang.

The geniuses will love this.

Oh. Also. Flash memory is more or less impervious to things like being dunked in water, so in theory you can get your stuff back.

In practice, Apple will send you a new device.

If you get your dirty photos back somehow, and they're of you, please post them?

Yeah... I'm just used to it being in my pocket, so I didn't even think about checking my bra. Ugh. And wait, how am I supposed to get Apple to send me a new one? If I do get my dirty photos back... Some are of me, some aren't... But they're mostly ones I took just for my boyfriend and myself to ogle. But perhaps I can just take some new ones to put up here?

FUCK YES I got to see Hall & Oates! Now my life is complete. Kinda. It was at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.

Musicfest Northwest. The PDX version of South By Southwest. Bands all over town playing short sets. It's fun. You get a wristband and run from venue to venue. I was watching some footage from this year's last night.

My guess is you dig Karaoke. Am I correct?

Ooo that sounds pretty sweet. I didn't even know about it. Ha I've actually only done karaoke at a bar once, me and my little sister do it at home sometimes though lol. I just kinda haven't gotten around to going much, but I do like it. Actually, just last week some friends and I tried to go, but we couldn't find anywhere that was doing it. Stupid Monday nights. Lol.
