I will have to respectfully disagree... communism is based on the de-stratification of society and the idea that every individual contributes his or her abilites for the good of the whole. Every individual therefore benefits from the whole package. It is not based on wealth, but survival and human rights.
Capitalism is based on heirarchy of wealth. Corporations control governments and vice versa, distribute the wealth to each other, screw the poor who are tucked safely away from civilation in the ghettos. The only encouragement of "individuality" comes from marketing ploys, enticing you to buy one product over the other so that girl will fuck you and not the other guy... making you the special one.

Both Communism and Capitalism rely on trusting your fellow man, the one system for hoping he wakes up in the morning and does his job, the other for trusting that what you buy isn't snake oil. These systems are always warped and destroyed because humans are suspicious creatures. The governments usually wind up as a Nationalist Socialist (aka NAZI) set-up.
Capitalism isn't simply about making a buck off your ideas--the reason you get money from your ideas is that they're supposedly better than everyone else's. Any decent free market capitalist knows, quite simply, that if you screwed over your customer they won't come back, and they'll tell their friends not to come back. Competition exists in a Capitalist system, regulations and restrictions that hamper "the little guy" tend to be the things lacking.
The more government, and fake entities like corporations* that is in business dealings, the less it is Capitalism.
(*Only people exist in Capitalism, a person is held responsible for their snake oil; Corporations are legal/government constructs to protect the snake oil peddler.)
Communism is about sharing that buck with everyone who happened to be in the general area as the guy who first thought up the idea. If you have an idea, it is not yours. If your idea is the best idea, then it is the one idea everybody gets. No competition, and minimal progress is due to the simple nature of human greed and the entrenched oligarchies that come with Communism. Groups, not individuals, exist and have rights.
[Most capitalists actually rely heavily on their community and small-scale Communism. (Anarcho-Capitalism especially so.)]
Fascism is about making a buck off your idea, stifling all competition to your idea, and forcing that idea upon everyone else so you can keep any dollars associated with that idea. There is no competition, and the progress within these systems tends to exist only as long as the dictator keeps power (usually through fear). It's all the lack of regulations from Capitalism, and all the government protections on the monopoly of Communism without any of the benefits from either system. There are no rights, unless you're the plutocracy.
These are the ones you dislike, these are the people like the Rothschilds, Bushes, Cheney, and anyone else heading up the Anglo-American empire. The few plutocratic people with their few corporations and the sweetheart deals getting the most money with "their guy for the job" without a care for how well the job is done now because they do not have to worry about scaring up future business.
Fascists aren't Capitalists because they don't compete, and they aren't Communists because they don't protect. (Even the Feudal system cared about the serfs.)

holy shit... I just don't know what to say that hasn't already been said by either one of you..
My opinions is that the only basis of Communism is the need for a common basis almong the people except when you add in the political power of the delegates, you get a high and extreamly low class outcome. I know Capitalism isn't the best but the only situation is that the lower class people, if they have the desire, can reach it to the top. You hear it all the time. Capitalism allows objectivism instead of collectivsm. If one feels they have the ambition, they allowed to drive themselves further than they would in Communism.
In communism, you as an individual mean just about shit. You aren't above or below those around you because you ALL LIVE IN THE GHETTO...
If you want out of that type of life style (dying of starvations, being terrorized by the army, no type of medial saction) then you must join the party (lets say the Nazi's) and then you start to become one of the many lower linked pawns on your way to military hierachy (I CAN'T SPELL sorry) Then you have the problem with artistic creative stand still. No one is allowed in Communism to feel any individualism therefore those who dare to go outside of this common law are usually punished severly. You do the job you are to do because you are contributing to society. NOTHING MORE.
It is our indiividialism that makes each of us wonderful and special. In Capitalism, it's creative inventions that bring one to the top. It's art that makes someone express themselves in the form of films, or photography or music. Look at Capitalist celebraties. They all got there because they thought of an idea, put it to good use, and made thier mark in history.
Maybe I just read too much Ayn Rand

NAZIs aren't Communists. (Hitler, his party, and his nation excepting the Weimar Leftists loathed Communism and much preferred the authoritarian set-ups of monarchies.) They were Nationalist Socialists, they are Fascists, and there is a subtle yet all-important difference between the two. (Namely in that Communists believe everyone can be a part of the commune and that Fascists may not exist without the ability to be selective.)
Fascists still allow for their lower classes to dream of wealth and power, but don't allow them to attain it. Communists pretend there is no wealth and power without the collective, and Capitalists pretend everyone has power if not wealth.
Rand was a Fascist, just look at how she treated her acolytes.
