Hey there, you, scrolling through pictures of other peoples' "highlights"; reading captions and seeing things that make you feel you aren't as ahead as you thought you were in life...

Most days I compare myself to others, social media of any kind makes that easy...

But what I find EVERYTIME I try and compare myself to others (and idk if this makes me feel happy...

Blog Homework: What would your warning label be?

****WARNING****

Sundew is an EXTREMELY forgetful space-case!

That statement is the truest testament to my character, almost as a whole!

Always, I forget things, and easily do I slip into daydreaming- especially when on car rides :O

I barely remember my past and I can barely remember if I rolled up my car windows all the way...

@rambo @missy @lyxzen Thank you! This week's @bloghomework is perfect for me, someone who continuously gets overwhelmed and off-track in life. I love bucket lists and have always wanted to make a set-in-stone, official list; but I change so much and forget myself so easily for me to stay focused on checking off things on a list... However I love making lists and daydreaming of...

This week's homework from @lyxzen is discussing the top 3 presents that I would want most!

Oh boy this is a tough one 😱 For years now I haven't had the luxury of money to spend on nyself or others so I have gotten quite used to not asking for anything and not needing anything... BUT I have been keeping a mental list for when...

Tortoise = brilliant.
dashwood_one:
I had a Tortoise when I was seven, which was in 1971. I called him 'Arthur', for two reasons: 1) I had just read 'The Sword In The Stone'; 2) My family seem to be shit at giving pets normal 'pet' names. Yes, my childhood cat was all black and called 'Sooty' (not very PC. I know, but it was the 1960's), but our next cat was named by my brother, who should never have been trusted with that task, as he had a goldfish. That he named 'Arnold', because he said it looked like the bloke who ran the diner in 'Happy Days'. He duly named the tiny kitten 'Henry', just because. Our current cat, was rescued from being two dogs' pull-toy by my brother. The silly girl who owned it, who thought that a ten-week old kitten and two Staffordshire Bull Terriers (a notoriously stupid breed of dog) would play happily together, had named it 'Cooper' for some reason. My brother wanted to re-name him 'Knocker' for some reason, but I said no. So my brother put 'Dave' in front of the 'Cooper', so our vet knows him as 'Dave Cooper'. He gets catfood samples sent to him as 'Mr Dave Cooper', yes, really - that's my brother's partner did that, for a laugh, and it's stuck. Oh, we were talking about tortoises, weren't we? Sadly, the winter of 1972/3 was particularly bad, and despite being in a nice box, full of straw, Arthur didn't wake up. Mortality 101, right there, kids. Dad buried him under a tree in our garden. He's still there.

Im in class and feeling so revitalized and bursting with happiness and love (but have to sit still and listen in class, the torture); I know I can be low in the dumps sometimes, but that is soon surpassed by this overwhelming energy, a feeling of my heart or soul flying inside my being, I literally would explode and shower this world in love and...
