Raina is a dark one, no question about it, and we shot this set of her when we first met her. I remember how quiet the girl was, how gently mysterious her every comment or response to us was. When we into the studio she gave us a cd to play while we shot her. I put it in the computer, and noticed she had burned the cd with only one track: "Girlfriend in a Coma" by The Smiths. She said to just put it on repeat. So we listened to the song over and over again as it rained outside and the flash on missy's camera reflected off the fogged up windows.
