Went to the Life of Agony show on wednesday, (7/13). It was awesome. Here was the setlist
Don't Bother
This Time
The Day He Died
Love to Let You Down
Through and Through
Weeds
Lost at 22
Wicked Ways
Bad Seed
Strung Out
Underground
River Runs Red
I also attended the Acoustic Set at Lava Recordings in Cleveland earlier that day.
They play all acuoustic versions of
Love to Let you Down
Wicked Ways
If anyone was there, I was wearing by Life of Agony Jersey (very hard to miss that)
The concert was awesome. After the show I hung out with some people I met at the acoustic set and we waited by the bus for the band to appear. We waited for about 45 minutes before anyone showed up. (I guess they went back to the hotel to shower and stuff). Anyways, Joey Z (guitarist) came out and talked to us for about 30 minutes or so about all kinds of things. We even touched on Dimebag's murder. Joey said that when they heard about it, the band shut down for the day (like most of us). He then added that following day they were in the studio recording "Wicked Ways" and paid tribute to the late member of Pantera by including some of Dimebag's signature sylings in the guitar solos.
Here are some pics I took during the Lava Room Acoustic Recording Session
I have some little videos I recorded during this session of "Wicked Ways" If you want to see them, use the contact feature under my profile pic and I will emial them to you.
In other news, I was in Detroit on Tuesday (7/12), Cleveland twice on 7/13, Columbus and South Bend on 7/14, and now I'm back in Akron. I guess that's the price I pay for having a decent job.
I've got to go to the Trek Store today. Won a Trek Bar in the Lucky 7 sweepstakes. Why couldn't it have been a Madone 5.9? Oh well, still got 9 days left.
