I was thinking about saying something snarky and humorous here, or perhaps some obscure inside joke that only the two of us would get. I even considered going on and on about how brilliant, funny, and devastatingly gorgeous she is.

But none of those things seemed like the proper way to express just how special Lacey is to me.

Honestly, I don't think I'll ever be able to.
