My secret in college was to always find something completely mindless to do each week. If you spend a couple hours here and there just doing something active that doesn't take too much mind power, it's easier to focus on things when you need your brain. Maybe even do something simple and creative like pick up a box of crayons and a coloring book..anything that takes your mind off important things should work.

Also if you have trouble remembering things, write a cheat sheet up the day of the exam as if you were going to cheat on the test and don't use it.
Do people really have nothing better to do with their time, than worry about what another is doing with their life???

Psychiatry, that's hardcore studies, you must get some strange reactions when you tell people. I thought pre-med students were all over-worked and didn't have any spare time for stuff like this.
