I'm in the same position i can't stand my job want to quit but all that does is give them satyfaction and in this times its hard looking for a new job but there are jobs out there just keep looking and when you for sure have that job put your 2 weeks in or quit however you want to do it.
i would say quit... if you've got people skills, actual skills at something, or connections... but i've been at my job for nearly 7 years and i've hated it from day one.
I would think back to the last time I enjoyed the job, work out what's changed since then and then assess the possibility of it getting back to the way it was before.
I would figure in factors unrelated to the job, such as significant life changes (relationships, birthdays, etc) that might make you feel differently about the job even though nothing's changed within the job.
If there's no way to get back to how things were before, then I would look at the likelihood of getting a comparable/better job in the near future.
Sometimes the alternatives are a reminder of the good thing you already have.
Works for me, but I'm no sage.
