When I was a little girl I used to lie on my bed and dream about my handsome Prince, someone who would sweep me off my feet and take me away to live happily ever after.
As I got older I met many frogs along the way. I was intrigued and fascinated by the variety and quirkiness of my frogs. None of them perfect, but all wonderful in their own special way.
I began to realize that perhaps the frogs themselves were what I was actually looking for. The long lost dream of Prince Charming was just a young girls unrealistic fantasy. What I really wanted was someone with faults to match my own.
I love my frog. He does not demand perfection but accepts me for who I am. You dont need a prince to live happily ever after.
