I just got home from Skate Camp. It was such a wonderful vacation. We got to take my friend's van which made the drive so much more comfortable. We smoked so much herb on the way up, haha. We arrived at "Dino Eggs" (a little open area off the highway where people go and party at night; there are two huge boulders you drive through to get there that look like dinosaur eggs) around 11:30pm. I was so excited to see my boyfriend when we pulled in. It was pitch black and I just started running into the nothingness and mass of people about to piss myself, haha. We got hammered there and drove to a camp site where we set up our tent and passed out.

Saturday morning we drove to skate camp. They have 4 incredible, HUGE parks to skate. We roller-decked for a while, then drove to Stoney Creek. We had to trek through all these gnarly rocks along the creek until we reached an open area where the creek meets in two places and becomes a waterfall. The water was warm; the weather couldn't have been more perfect. We blazed a blunt and drank beers at a natural pool before heading further down to the waterslides. Yes, fucking WATERSLIDES! There is a huge mellow rock that the water rushes over and off of into a big pool. You climb to the top and slide all the way down the rock and launch about 12 feet off into the water. It was by far the coolest thing I have ever done in my life. That whole place is so beautiful.

We went back to camp a couple hours later and took a nap and showered, then went to Bear Mountain Pizza. Sooo good. All of us were pretty beat after that so we just drove back and went to bed. I am so lucky my boyfriend has his own cabin, I got to sleep with him every night we stayed there.

Sunday is when all of the kids arrive, so my friends and I took off to another camp site about 10 minutes away. We ate mushrooms and fried all day. I layed in the dirt and made miniature forest settings out of broken branches. We took little nature walks and watched the trees breathe...

Shrooming in the forest is my absolute favorite. Headed back to camp around 8:00pm and watched the campfire skits. Still frying. Took a hot shower. Still frying. Layed in boyfriend's bed while he edited. Still frying. Had amazing sex and finally just collapsed in tiredness.

Monday we skated our fucking brains out. Took a little canoe out on beautiful Sequoia Lake. Swam for a little, ate dinner, then shredded for another few hours. I am so, so, SO excited. I learned how to pump really well so I can smash down some really steep banks and over pyramids and back up banks and transitions. Pumped tranny on a mini ramp and vert ramp until my knees felt like they had been set on fire. Hung with my friends at our camp site for a few hours, then had to retire. I was falling asleep sitting upright on a cooler. Not safe.

Today I slept in so hard. Little video interns were in the cabin with us learning Final Cut Pro while I just snoozed away. Wanted to skate but I wore a dress and got all cute soo.. Left around 3:30pm. Just kissed and kissed on boyfriend. I miss him terribly. It felt so good being able to hold his hand and just look at him all weekend. 4 more weeks, just 4.

Drive back was low key. Sparked a blunt of Chronic which ripped us all in half for about 2 hours. Spent $30 on snacks, hahaha!! Finally, here I sit. Back at home in the bay. I'm so effing glad I decided to go all meth-addict on the apartment before I left Friday. Everything is spotless. So comfortable.

Lucky girl, I get to go back in 2 weeks (for 3 days). I'm bummed, I left my skate at camp!! Good thing my boyfriend has about 6 in our storage space. Just got next month's schedule for work. I don't have to work until 10:00pm on Thursdays anymore and I get off at 6 on fri, sat, and sun now. A leetle better I suppose. I am kind of fucking ticked though that 2 new people got hired and one has sat AND sun off, and the other has sat off. Ughhh. Patience is a virtue, time was not meant to hurt you. Breaaaathe.

Right back to the grind tomorrow. Le sigh.
