I don't let stuffy white guys in suits define my morals. Protesting isn't enough. Marching isn't enough. How can you expect to make radical change while accommodating the rules put in place by the very government oppressing the people?
This is our time. We have to make it happen. We grow more and more complacent, allowing our 'freely elected' leaders to violently crush opposition abroad, forcing developing nation-states (defined only by our own selfish practices of colonization) to accept our false ideals of capitalism and 'democracy'.
We've drawn lines in the sand, penning people in to stretches of desert incapable of sustaining plant life outside of a short growing season. We've forced starvation on them in our effort to create order. We've made it illegal for them to leave. We've killed children to get at the oil beneath their feet. We've locked our borders against those who need sanctuary most.
And yes, it is us. We created our government. We elected them. They grew up in our backwards, fucked-up society. It is our fault, and we have the power to change it. We are the only ones with the power to change it.
Stop making excuses.
Bring on the revolution.
