as the snow comes down,
sleeping am I-
snug, quiet, not a sound.
I dream of ghosts, goblins, and other creepy things,
feeling the fear
a dream like this brings.
And then suddenly
as the egg of fear in me is hatching,
I realize
that something at the window is scratching.
A dark pane of glass
is all that i see
but i know that i heard it. What could it be?
I ventured over the window and what should i see?
but an odd little BLOOD BRIDE
looking back at me.
Sanity left me
and my fear quickly followed suit,
as i felt that this being
was indeed harmless and cute."
