I met Moby once about 6 years ago. My band was playing at this big radio fest in Buffalo, NY with like 30 bands, and Moby was one of them. He was walking around back by all the busses and vans, and I saw him and decided to say hello. He gave me a snotty look, said nothing, and walked away. I wasn't to impressed with that. Oh well. He may have just been having a shitty day.

Great minds think alike. The Little Prince is an amazing book. You should visit NYC one of these days. Moby has a resturant there, on the lower east side if I rememeber correctly. Once saw him there behind the counter, which was quite odd, but admirable.

today was my birthday. And I'm totally fucking miserable. I spent a lot of money, not even on myself... but I was having a great time, then everything goes to shit and I'm alone and wish I was never born in the first place. Dosen't that seem completely backwards to you??? I just spent the day with the girl that makes me feel this way. I wish I had spent it with someone else.

An article about him in the paper today-talking about how he was raised very poor by his Mother and that is why he works hard to keep ahead, basically he is afraid of becoming poor again. He has not had a vacation in ten years.
