Love that movie

This is my favorite Miyazaki movie. It was his first original debut as a director and probably still my favorite after all this time.

As always, food for thought. Surreal imagery.

interesting feeling here of religious awakening overlapping with secular renewal - as if the persona has either found God or found a new walk. or both. nice.

last night the pretty Korean girl nearby and i kept exchanges glances (or did we??). then when her friend went to the bathroom room she started checking her phone. Putting her phone away  she arched back, stretching. she was wearing a very heavy sweater, but what amazing breasts! what subtle flirtation! Kindness on a cold winter night.  Great Anne words. thanks.

So I've always really like the last verse of To A Louse by Robert Burns. Burns night on the 25th by the way. But I actually don't understand what he means by the very last line. Do any of you have a clue? It makes sense to say that if we could in fact see ourselves clearly, that we wouldn't care about our superficial appearances,...

You are too kind. Finding richness is one thing, putting it in a line is something completely different and there I can only be left in awe of the poets...

Thank you for getting my set with @janesinner and @andrealaz to the front page. I'm glad people enjoyed the concept and little story so much. We shot it in Portugal early last summer. I came from Scotland, Jane came from Russia and Andrea came from Brazil via Germany!

You guys probably know that I have had quite a fascination with Russian culture for years (since

Tomorrow is the Winter Solstice. The shortest day of the year. After that we can start heading towards the light again.

The job I left last week was my work in a psychiatric hospital where I did activities with people with advanced dementia. I loved those patients and I will miss them. They deserve all the patience and kindness and support in the world.

Something...

@phoenix But that's so good that you can recognise that and you certainly help others through your art. In many ways, from inspiration, engagement, stimulation to gathering people together, you help yourself too, to not express our creative impulses or use our talents is like doing harm to yourself I think. I look forward to seeing your new projects, I msut keep up with what everyone is doing now that I don't have instagram or anything like that. I have jsut slowly started to make some images again, I'm hoping I will use my extra time for that. I feel the desire again which is nice. I hope everything is going well for you. Do you think of coming back to Europe again anytime soon? x

I know this post is old now, but: I'm catching up on your blog and I just wanted to say I've been reading your thoughtful, introspective posts for years, and I always really enjoy them. So I hope you'll occasionally keep writing about yourself and your thoughts, even though you don't have quite the same urge to do so as you used to. Always a pleasure to read what's on your mind.

That was a nice good morning to see @mendacia 's new set on here. She asked me to wake her up :-) Doesn't she look amazing?! I really adored that woman, she's so funny and has such a great energy.

In 3 or 4 days you can see the set I shot with @janesinner too and then I'll tell you a story about it...

The secret of a full life is to live and relate to others as if they might not be there tomorrow, as if you might not be there tomorrow. It eliminates the vice of procrastination, the sin of postponement, failed communications, failed communions. This thought has made me more and more attentive to all encounters, meetings, introductions, which might contain the seed of depth that...
