I like to visit the natural history museum in every city I travel to.
When I get home, the memories of the specimens and the illuminated display cases always follow me.
I imagine a fossil of archaeopteryx on the wall of my hotel room and dream the collection of a victorian lepidopterist on my bedside table.
Sometimes I think I could perhaps become a chimera of coelacanth tails and birds wings and the antlers of Megaloceros.
Then I think that I have probably spent far too long at the museum that day :-)
