“Somewhere in the Mojave desert, a sleepy hacienda awakens to the first
day of spring. It's an occasion that calls for ritual & celebration.
Love is in bloom, and that's not all. Water is heated with wood and
infused with the essence of almond blossoms. Herbs are steeped, the
chores are done and the rest of the morning belongs to me. The cactus
wren chirps in agreement, her eggs nestled safely among protective
needles. Step lightly, life is stirring everywhere you look.”
