It’s been raining the last few days, spring showers are finally here! Good excuse to stay inside and read a book. Trying to read a book per week this year. Do you have any suggestions on good reads? Some books I’ve read so far: Canadian history of hangings, battlestar galactica, two cheers for anarchism, fourth turning is here, and the world encyclopedia of flags. 💋♥️

Oh hi hi!

Did you ladies know there is a Girls Only group?

If you have been on the site for at least 3 months, have some posted blogs & comments + proof you are a girl (ex photos of yourself, are a SuicideGirl, hopeful, have linked social media with pics etc) then you can join the group. :)

It’s a private group, but if

Thanks to everyone that came to hang out with me on live stream just now, albeit it was only for a few minutes.

Y'all rocked my socks.

It was kinda (super) last minute decision; I just wanted to see how it all worked.

Maybe I'll come hang out on live chat again soon. ;)

I don’t know if I posted about this before… I have some “pet” squirrels I take care of. There’s probably around 15-20 of them that come visit me through out the day. I can well recognize 6 of them. I also have some chipmunks, bluejays, mourning doves and other birds as well.

The OG squirrel, mommy squirrel, started living under my deck in the spring....

Super cute squirrels, and very kind of you! It's amazing how tame they are in your presence. You might want to watch out though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MziwbQv9zQ0 🤔

The night kind of this animals are unfortunatly suffering a lot from smartphones :/ In France where we got the highest norms I've been observing some screaming pain as soon as there was someone coming with a smartphone up to 1km before ! Same for aiplanes radars it makes them suffer a lot !

Anyone else into esotericism?

Demonology, ancient civilizations/religions (mainly Sumerian pantheon) mythology, occultism, secret societies, & mysticism.

If you’re into any of those topics I’d love to hear what your interests are in specific; any literature you’d recommend to read, any documentaries to watch, or lectures to listen to.

She also wrote the fiction that I think does far and away the best job of placing the reader in the world and mindset of the pre-christian Scandinavians... or pre-christian anybody.  The language can be a bit choppy since she's writing in English as a second language, but the characters, story, and above all the world they inhabit is so vivid and foreign in a genuine way.  I also think it can be a hard read for most folks because it's not operating under the storytelling or moral conventions that we modern first worlders usually assume, but for me that's a great part of the appeal.  https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZUYLIBQ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I follow Grant Morrison-writer, philosopher, etc.  I don't have the discipline/attention-span for any religion or organized system.

… who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.

I meant that quote more in the the context of those in todays society; how so many people follow people in media, celebrities, social media stars and blindly idolize them. The "false prophets" that tell their followers things, and they in turn think/believe whatever they are told to without using critical thinking.

I'm not really sure if the world has been this always or it's just intensified with the age of social media. While social media has it's merits, in some ways it's kind of poisonous as well. My biggest "idols" are probably some of the lovely ladies on here and even that is just in admiration not and obsession/idol sense. I find your ideals and outlooks quite interesting I must say.

... change my mind.

EDIT: alright, we are 11 comments into this post and not one person has been able to prove me otherwise. So therefore I have no other option but to conclude I am correct. 🙃
