It's not much, just two songs at the recital my guitar instruction put together, but it was at a venue I've gone to see bands at, and got to play in a full band with a friend. Always wanted to but could never find the way. Now I want to do it more!

Went to a Ryan Meetup this weekend in San Diego and it was insane. Two nights of nothing but a theater/club full of Ryan's from around the U.S.(+1 Canadian). Had so much fun, but also partied like I thought I was in my 20s. I spent most of yesterday in bed hungover. Today I'm able to work from home but my voice is completely gone....

Went to the Oddities Expo in San Diego today and it did not disappoint. Bought some great clothes, and roommate got some great jewelry, and we both got some henna tattoos. Lots of fun, and lots of interesting "adventures in taxidermy", as seen in the photo below.
